As an O's fan, the biggest name missing was D.L. Hall. Consensus #3 prospect for the O's but while he has dropped in a lot of rankings, he's still been in that 70-80 range on Pipeline and BA's most recent lists. The injuries and control are a concern but they all agree he has #3, if not #2 pitcher type stuff when he is on the money.

As a tigers fan I actually agree with Greene being above torkelson. Greene is a more complete player. He steals bases, hits for power and contact, and he has a higher BA. Torkelson is a power hitter and that's his best trait. Obviously there's great power hitters but typically great players will be a complete player

You also have to acknowledge torkelson’s discipline however. As a complete HITTER specifically, there is no prospect more complete and well rounded then torkelson. Again, that’s referring exclusively to how well rounded his overall hitting abilities are. I believe he’s a future .950 - 1.000 ops sort of guy consistently.

One guy I really want to see take that next step is delvin perez from the cards. Correa/Javy type of glove, huge arm, speed which gives him tons of range at SS. If the bat can ever come through boy you’re looking at possibly an all star SS.
@timdouglas2056
@timdouglas2056 2 года назад
Man, Perez's bat has been awful. It would be an historic improvement to get him to All-Star level. No power, doesn't draw walks against advanced competition, strikes out too much for someone with no power... I think he's a backup SS at best. Some first rounders don't ever develop, and that's unfortunately what happened here. Don't forget he was drafted almost six years ago. He is what he is.
