Say something was not her first song choice to sing for that episode. It was supposed to be a Filipino song called “anak” but a day before the performance, the staff of the show told her to change the song. So he called her friend (the guitarist) to fly to China right away and then she decided to sing Say something. She was the one who arranged it for less than 24 hours and it turned out good. Or should I say, it’s great. Imagine if she was given more time to prepare, I’m sure the whole world will be amazed. The talent of this woman is. JUST. WOW. Proud Filipino here!

KZ is a "one of a kind" artist! She can make that emotional connection with her audience every single time she performs. Please react to her first International single "<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="719">11:59</a>" which just debuted. This song was delayed nearly two years due to the pandemic.

I can see that KZ has captured your hearts as she did mine. For me, she is at the top when we talk about artists who cover songs. Even when she does her original songs, every performance will be individually unique. I actually see the same with EZ Mil's performances as well. Do check out KZ's mashup of "No Diggity", "Shout" and "Thrifty Shop", along with all her other Singer 2018 performances.

KZ sings with passion. Just like EZ. This is what makes them so good. They do what they love. Please do KZ and Jaya collab doing Nina Simone's Feeling Good. You might also want to check out Gigi de Lana who actually worked with EZ on a show in Dubai. Gigi live streams for her fans and sings requested songs live. I recommend her Better Days cover. Thanks for the great reaction! Check out her cover of See You Again on The Singer also. Her latest release is <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="719">11:59</a> showcases her soulful RnB flavor. You could also check her performance on BBC Radio London of her original where she is compared to Lauren Hill. There is also a nice interview of her story in English. She does a Lauren Hill Cover Doo Wop with some friends on the Wish Bus. Her guitarist Makoy Portado here she asked him to fly to China at short notice to help her with this arrangement after she was not happy with how things were going in preparing for her performance of I believe another song. Yes! 😍 Excited to see their reaction to Feeling Good. The original is Nina Simone, though, then it got popularized by Michael Bublé. Anyway, the views for that isn't as high as her other ones, so it would be a shame if they'd only watch KZ's most popular videos, because I, personally, enjoy her less popular songs/covers/performances (that sometimes don't even get to 6 or 7-digit views) much much more 🙁😌💁🏻
