Laguna Biotch did a great interview with Alex about the fallout with Kristen and basically it’s like this: They moved there together, it was great for awhile, she was Kristen’s sidekick going to all the things with her etc. Then she started to feel like she was only a sidekick so she started hanging out with other people too, and basically kind of crashed around at other people’s houses for a month or a few weeks. When she went back to the house she shared with Kristen, Kristen had someone else staying there in her room. Alex basically packed up her stuff and moved out, never really talking to Kristen about it first or afterwards. They’re okay now, and in retrospect she seemed to think there were probably other ways to go about that, like talking about it, but it was what was right at the time.

I must find this interview. I really like Alex. So I watched things backwards and saw the Hills first so when I first watched Laguna Beach I was primed to be on Lauren's side and Kristin irritated me with her bubblyiness but now that I've watched it over with you guys I have a whole new perspective on Kristin. I like her now and am not so Laurenfied that I can now see where Lauren was not the perfect person I thought she was and wasn't an innocent victim all the time. I know there was a lot of produced drama from the producers to cause love triangles...high school surely has enough drama of its own than to have the producers provoking these poor kids. I always thought Lauren was chill but she could be cynical and negative and kind of depressive sometimes as I can be too and maybe that's why I Identified with her character sometimes. I originally saw Kristin as one of those loud obnoxious attention seeking people who needed someone like Alex to help her chill and calm down.

Yep. Alex got to LA and realized everything was revolving around Kristin. Kristin allegedly developed such a huge ego after she left Laguna and was treating Alex like an assistant. Glad they’ve gotten past that. It sucks coming to a new city right off the heels of a smash show to realize your friend is thriving and you feel stuck

Suddenly realizing why I didn’t watch this when it came out… it’s all just about mean girls and cliques and gave me PTSD flashbacks from high school 😅😂 I’m 28 and feel anxious about the drama between the two groups of girls lol apparently I’m still dealing with some unresolved trauma. Can’t wait to dive into that hahaha

Even Lauren and Kristin who had a good reason not to like each other managed to be cordial for most of the parts of their seasons, it’s first episode in and these girls are mean for no reason! Hope they’ve grown out of this.

The vibe I always got from Jessica this season, was that she was trying to do what Lauren did in season 2, in the hopes it would bring her the same opportunities as Lauren had, for example, much like Lauren, Jessica is hanging around Laguna before making her 'big' move and dating the high school 'bad' guy. Also, Lexie is a professional dancer now and has been on tour with multiple artists, I remember spotting her in the Katy Perry movie. I haven't watched this season in such a long time so I'm glad that you guys are doing it!

I’ve become obsessed with these reactions!! But I did want to comment that the volume of the actual show is extremely low compared to the volume of your voices. So sometimes it’s hard to hear what they are saying isn’t he show without turning my volume way up. Other than that I love you guys! Keep the reactions coming!

FYI: Stevens Johnson Syndrome nearly killed Tessa and she had to be hospitalized for three weeks. Tessa says Kyndra and her crew ditched her when this happened. SJS is likely why Tessa's lips were so dried looking. Rocky was so good to her and supported her through everything; that is why they are so close.

Kyndra and Cami have been interviewed about this many times and Kyndra always says that she never knew Tessa was sick. And in an interview just a few years ago they still have no idea what condition Tessa was ever sick with. Kyndra said it was a flat out LIE that they ditched her because of an illness. Anyways, Kyndra is like a major buyer for Neiman Marcus. That's been her career for years now.

While Season 3 has a fresh new lineup of cast, it doesn’t feel as organic as Season 1 and 2. In fact while Season 1 is arguably the most real, Season 2 was fresh in upping the drama a little bit while still blending nicely with the Season 1 foundation. It was chill yet addictive gold each week due to Kristin’s half-knowingly playing the edgy girl for production. An iconic season. Season 3 while being the most daring of all three seasons with the drama and spicy one-liners with Kyndra and Cami felt less organic. A repetitive formula of “omg he’s so hot”, seemingly pre-written shade from the mean clique to Tessa and Raquel, a rushed ending/cliffhanger and a mistep of narration that should’ve gone to Kyndra and NOT lukewarm Tessa. All 3 seasons had its uniqueness but nothing beats the peak Season 2 starting from the excellent finale of Season 1 of Kristin and Steven’s iconic top-of-the-car-at-the-beach conversation. I will deff be revisiting Season 3 along with you starting today tho 🤓.

The reason why LB seasons 1&2 felt so real was Lauren. The producers said LC wouldn’t let them run the show. That’s why after Lauren left the Hills it was all drama.

I think season 1 is so good because the producers genuinely showed up at the right time. All the drama with Kristin/Lauren/Steven was actually happening. I always think about how lucky they were to show up then. I know they looked at several cities in the OC so it’s interesting that they ended up Laguna Beach.

Now Tessa is married, a mom and hair stylist (think she lives in Utah). Raquel is also married with kids and was blogging but think she stopped - her blog was something like RockyB from LB. Kyndra is a photographer. Cami has a daughter and teaches pilates. Kellan is married. Cameron went into the military.

Im rewatching the laguna sodes from the beginning and everytime i wait for Timmy to say "previously on the screviously" but i forgot that doesnt come till sometime in season 2 😂 now i just say it and crack myself up. Little known fact Cameron of Season 3 is an actor now, he’s been a few roles in La La Land, The Hunger Games, The Disaster Artist and Shameless to name a few. Chase is the lead singer of band Open Air Stereo. Lexie ended up being part of a Katy Perry tour, dancer in La La Land and starred in a minor role in The Big Bang Theory

Who knows if true. But i remember back in the day hearing that Kristin and Alex had a falling out because Kristin was trying to get her acting career to take off, and her ego grew (even worse than it was lol) and treated Alex like shit. She was also partying non stop and Alex was trying to attend school and was taking it seriously.

I remember thinking Lauren looked really thin in LG Season 2 (like just watching it on this channel recently)… compared to how I remembered her on The Hills. They did change up the music Alex M and Alex H were singing L.O.V.E. by Ashley Simpson in the car, that's why she came up to the table saying L.O, L.O This whole season was edited to the music good originally.

I think because she had it together at such a young age. She didn't need the approval of all the popular girls and didn't care to fit in , she was already confident and had a good head on her shoulders. Not to mention she was naturally pretty.

Jessica was in my statistics class at our community college, Saddleback. She’d show up late everyday..on the phone and with some friend in tow…aaaand then dropped it halfway through. That’s all the scoop I have on her. I forgot how cruel these girls were to each other. I don’t wish ill on anyone, but god I hope they regret their actions, because damn. That shit harsh! Can’t remember the episode but it was when they went out to dinner where he kept getting up from the table and moved away from sitting next to Lauren. Here for this season! A lot of these cast members still live in Laguna! Kendra actually had a baby and it was a journey for her to get there! Everytime I write her something nice on instagram she will always comment back and seems super super sweet! So this show def shows the teenage catty side we all had lol. I think her and cami are great entertainment lol. Also, Kendra was at Jason’s birthday party on the hills with her BF Tyler. That awful night he left Lauren at his party etc!

I wish Kristen was still on the show this season. IMAGINE Kyndra trying to beat Kristen at the game Kristen perfected. Kyndra and Cami have such immature, nasty streaks, and it would’ve been nice to see someone with a backbone of steel and amazing confidence like Kristen to put them in their place and serve them some humble pie.

@@susana01992 Jessica is actually born the same year as Kristin but in Laguna they apparently separated classes by their birthday months, if that makes sense, and she was born in the fall. So she is not much older than most of these other kids but a year ahead in school because she wanted to take classes with her friends

Alex H. was definitely the wisest person to appear on the show in that she didn't seem easily influenced; very head strong! If not for Jessica being a sweet girl, she probably wouldn't have hung out with her. There are plenty of times between season 2 and 3 when you can tell her she wants to roll her eyes at the stupid decisions Jessica makes. 😂

It's sad, because they never put any build-up in the 2nd season to the people in the 3rd season. I think they were so focused on the storyline for The Hills that they pretty much threw this together. Though Kendra, Cami, and even Breanna were in small portions of the other seasons, they weren't given much time to show their personality. So, you pretty much have to forget about the characters of the past and let them go (besides Jessica) to accept them. And, that is pretty hard, when the most popular ones are on another show that would go on even longer. As a kid, I was in love with Laguna Beach, because I was that age. Now, I relate more to The Hills being in an office setting myself as a Buyer, and had been in school, when it came out. This is merely a thought: But, why not make LC's sister the main character? Then, they have something to build on that could lead her in a direction to cross paths with stars of The Hills later on. Maybe she just didn't have the IT factor. Say whatever about LC, but she's the primary star of both major shows that started it all. The break-out star in Season 2 was Jason; no question about it.
