In the Soul Fighter video, the one fighting Viego was actually Samira, from Noxus! You notice she uses a sword, unlike Miss Fortune. Hard to notice the difference they kinda look alike a bit haha.
The Champion on the far right in the Anima Squad video you didn't know yet is Briar. She's fairly new, you'll probably have a chance to see her teaser, she's interesting haha.
Btw the girl "the one on the right" you couldn't recognize in the Anima video is Briar. She does have an animated release video that's quite fun. But the gist of it is that she's a blood frenzied experiment from Noxus (Don't think Darius in this case, but instead the dark side of Noxus). For the trailers I've been playing quite a lot of the Anima Squad PVE mode (It might actually be something fun for you 2 to play as you can play it with just you 2). I've also played a lot of Arena with my friends and brother. In case you don't know Arena is a game mode where you play as 2 Champions with other teams and keep doing 2v2 duels. The thing that makes it fun is that during the game you will get randomized power ups and some randomized rarer items, so you play it to create fun builds that are unique to the gamemode.
I look forward to the day when you guys watch "The Call", "Still Here" and lastly "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" from necrit. The video is full of lore from various regions in league of legend.

You should check out LOL voicelines. I recommend Necrit's videos but any compilation will do, you can even check out the wiki where all the voicelines and interactions are. The original way Riot used to hint at the lore to fans, before cinematics or short stories became more common, was by incorporating it into the game. Champions had lore-consistent personalities in game (Jinx sounded insane, Amumu sounded sad, Aatrox sounded angry, etc.) and will speak when they meet or kill champions that are related to them in the lore. Like Jinx used to hint about having a sister WAY before Vi was confirmed to be her sister.
Something that should probably be clarified. A mage in game, and a mage in the world of runetara are different. In game a mage is just a character that relies almost entirely on abilities to do damage and does magic damage, but in the lore a mage is a magic user. So if you are looking at the lol character pages and see mage it might not actually mean that they are one of the mages referenced in arcane. for example kai'sa is not a mage in the lore, but she can build AP and uses a lot of spells so she could be counted as a mage in game. Hope that all makes sense!

Kai'Sa is not a mage, she's a marksman, but she's a lot of magic damage in her kit (more than normal adc) and people historically build her hybrid (both Attack Damage and Ability Power items in League). You can even play her as a full mage, only building Ability Power items, as sometimes this is the favorite "type" of Kaisa people prefers to play. With this version, she becomes a total mage, playing from very far away with her bolts and teleports, my favorite playstyle for her for sure, very fun and strong!
Watching over these really drives it home for me that even though Arcane only has 2 seasons, the world of Runeterea has hundreds of amazing stories to tell and I can’t wait to see them all.
I looove your reactions! Regarding to the skinlines, there are many other characters that got skins on the soul fighter and anima squad events. The events tend to get also music themes and they show progress on all the skins releasing during the event in those music themes. So i recommend looking at those someday as well.
Oversharing lore moment: The marks on Kai'sa's face, along with her "jet pack", are her void skin and augments. Her father, Kassadin, went into the void and was changed and she is half-human, half void born. That's why she looks like that.
Oh, btw, Riot/League used to do short stories and lore drops of champions when they came out. No idea why tf they stopped, because we LOVED that stuff. I highly, HIGHLY suggest ya'll check out Kindred's stuff, like the short story, "A Good Death."
Arena (Soul Fighter) and Swarm (Anima Squad) are just game modes for League of Legends (and Wild Rift, which is the mobile version of LoL). Riot has been working for some time on a role-playing game (MMORPG) which would presumably include Ionia, but there's no telling when that may see the light of day.

Tbh, I love watching reactors reacting to League content cause like, it helps level me in a sense, lol. It gets to a point where, not that I take any cinematics for granted still, but I defs probably don't appreciate them as much as I still should lol.
I can be wrong but i think anima squad is suposse to have some Tokusatsu vibes like Pacific Rim/Power Rangers and so on fight the giant monsters protect the city kind a stuff. (Which can be a lot like Anime) And finally some Aatrox screen time Yay! "Citezens of Final City bow before the Primordians or break before me - Primordian Aatrox"
If you react to the GODS worlds song PLEASE include the teasers and storylines from worlds 2022! That was an amazing tournament whose finals was basically a movie script. Deft's story is incredible and I think it would give more insight into why the tournaments for LoL have so much investment. Loving these vids so thanks 🔥
Listen, fans of Vi and Jinx know by voice lines and special reactions that Vi and Jinx are possibly sisters but Riot games denied it for 10 years because they were going to launch Arcane, along with other Riot games in their 10th anniversary to which they did. Aside from Arcane though, in the 10th anniversary, they released other game announcements. You see before 2019, ppl made fun of Riot being called "Riot GameS" when they only had League of Legends PC game but little did ppl know that aside from Riot getting rid of memes of characters(like how Fiddlesticks went from 0 to 100 in a rework), Riot took the world by surprise when they released a free skin, Arcane skin, new games and Arcane on the 10th anniversary(I have been playing League of Legends since 2016 so I experienced all the worst and best of Riot and I still stand to support them now).
Yo league of legends have really great music too. Almost every champion has their own theme music videos. Some of them are actually quite epic and contains their concept art development in the video too with music. Give them a shot.
I've heard loads of people say that Arcane has changed the lore but I've been pretty into the lore for a long time and I really don't see any changes. I think a lot of people fall into the trap of calling filling in gaps in stories retcons. League lore has always purposefully been snapshots- short stories from very specific perspectives so they can keep weaving in different elements and subtle plot lines that work their way through various forms of media related to different characters. I really don't see any changes with Arcane and no one who says so has been able to tell me what they think has changed
If you really want to follow all the League content, ask your editor to prepare content about offline games in the Runeterra universe, like Convergence, Ruined King, The Mageseeker... Watch the cutscenes in the game, ask your editor to note what happened in between those cutscenes. It will be a very valuable experience, because as far as I know, no reaction channel about League has done that yet.

You guys missed the card game cinematic. The card game is Legends of Runeterra and the cinematic is called "Breath" and in my opinion it's top 3 riot cinematics, it's so good and the song is amazing. Also it's funny how you say Yasuo is everywhere because he is (also jinx is everywhere too), imagine how we feel league players, when we know there are another like 100 champs (and most of them older than jinx and yasuo) that never appear in cinematics, it's frustrating.
If you guys are interested in other Rito Games content that looks similar to Arcane, you might wanna check out Valorant too, especially the cinematics. And I suggest checking the episode cinematics the order of their release and not in timeline order, it screws up the point of the releases. Also, don't wonder if the episode cinematics don't seem to be continuations of each other because they are only cinematics for each Valorant episode (Valo's episodes are equivalent to game seasons, which last for months to years. Basically like the cycle of the 4 seasons where each season provides something different.)

uh you have it wrong. all these games did good. no not world breaking numbers but for the niche they were for they did good. i think mage seeker is the only one that is thought of as under performing but wasnt a bad game.
So ALL lore is canon now. Riot did basically a revamp of the lore IIRC this year & made everything canon. Which throws a wrench in games like Convergence & his overall story because his original story is vastly different than what happened in Arcane. But yeah, even Arcane is officially canon now too. Which is awesome, cause previously in the actual lore. IIRC we don't know Vi & Jinx's relationship. We don't know if they're sisters or just terrorizer vs cop 🤣 There's been a few signs that indicate that Vi & Jinx were sisters, but iirc nothing ever concrete until Arcane. BUT for a while there, yeah Arcane was not canon.
Also, not sure if anyone else has mentioned it. They probably have, but Arena is still around. I THINK they made it a permanent game mode since people loved it so much. But you got crazy sweat lords in that weirdly enough but still really fun to play
