Hi, I have a question about your merch, if I want to get the hoodie, for it to be oversized, should I get my size, or size up? ignore the really weird grammar in that. Also, I saw in one of your videos you said you couldn't find The L Word anywhere, I found it on crave or prime video, I dont remember which. I'm pretty sure it was crave. I also live in Canada though, so it might be different for you.
Was hoping there'd be more videos in this vein; while watching it seemed that Blue is the Warmest Colour and The Handmaiden were quite conspicuous in their absence.
ok that last kiss belongs in the goddess tier 🥺 just pleeease watch the whole Bly Manor show!!! you'll understand their first kiss much better, and there's so much good flirting, AND just wait for the last episode 😭 my favourite love story ❤️
To me, Dani and Jamie from Bly manor is the best wlw representation i've ever seen in a show, i'm surprised y'all didn't put the kiss higher! You should watch the whole show and MAYBE EVEN REACT TO IT THAT WOULD BE AMAZING, their relationship is my favorite ever because it's very natural and realistic with cute gay panics etc 😫 Hope tou guys will give it a chance and if you do prepare yourself to cry...
Ikr!! Dani was so cute when she was trying to flirt jksksk i loved that show so much i should watch it again but i'm still recovering from the ending 😭
yes! to this day jamie and dani remain my favorite wlw couple on tv, the reason i came to terms with my bisexuality, and plus they made me bawl my eyes out - there's something that felt so intimate about their relationship it both warmed and broke my heart
Ironically, the kiss from The Watermelon Woman (which was a truly awful kiss, I agree) is from a film starring and directed by actual lesbians. The Black woman in the kissing couple is also the director, Cheryl Dunye, and the white woman is lesbian movie actress Guinevere Turner (best known for the film Go Fish). This was only Guinevere Turner's second film role. I remember seeing this film at an LGBTQ film festival after it came out many, many years ago, around 1996 or 1997.
Guinevere Turner is also a film director and screenwriter, in fact she actually wrote "Go Fish" amongst others. And she acted in several episodes of The L Word as Gabby Deveaux (and wrote 3 of them). Edited because I can't spell today lol
I find the Haunting has a lot better scenes, than this one. It was probably shot at the very beginning, because at other scenes I found them to be a lot less awkward. You guys should also include Genleman Jack and Vigil in the next one. Suranne Jones' portrayal of lesbians is legendary well.
Ikr, it's a very cute scene especially when you watched the whole show!! you can tell Dani wanted to kiss Jamie for so bad and Jamie's little smile when she says yes, she was so happy 😭
You should’ve done the scene from Imagine Me and You at the flower shop, that was the better kiss scene bc i get what you mean about the last scene. Also y’all should really watch Atypical and The Haunting of Bly Manor i promise you those scenes are a lot better once you have all the build up and sexual tension (atypical took two seasons before they got together but it was SO WORTH IT)
I know you probably hear it all the time but I’m telling you THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR IS AMAZING THE ENDING WILL MAKE YOU CRY BUT I 100% RECOMMEND IT :)
Peyton and Luca - The Fortnight (RU-vid Yroc Sonex Prod) Landon and Avery - LA Web Series (RU-vid Violet Wave Prod) Lauren and Camila - The Stripper (RU-vid Ponto Aceo Prod) Camila and Fernanda - El Melhor Amiga da Noiva (The Bride's Best Friend) (RU-vid Ponto Aceo) Taylor and Rose - Spring (Amazon Plus Violet Wave) Ansleigh and Sophie - City of Trees (RU-vid and Amazon Plus Violet Wave) What it Feels Like to Fall In Love (short Violet Wave) Delphine and Cosima - Orphan Black Emily and Sue - Dickenson Anyone but Me (webseries) is an oldie, but a goodie
Because it's a classic, Willow and Tara in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's episode "The Body". It was one of the first on-screen lesbian kisses in arguably the most powerful episode of the series.
Would really recommend to you the couple from the Fear Street Trilogy but to be specific are the first and third movies (1994 & 1666). They’re one of the cutest ngl. But if you really wanna appreciate the entire thing, watch the entire trilogy cuz its great.
Miseducation of Cameron Post has the best kiss scenes ever the chemistry between them is amazing. Do the car scene or my favorite when they are watching the movie in the bedroom. God tier for sure!
9:04, I was literally thinking about this scene earlier today while sick at work, because I wanted to watch it so bad. It's such a perfect and sweet sick day flick. 10:08, It was directed by a straight man, but honestly this is one of the few times I don't mind a cishet man telling a wlw story. The whole premise of the movie is about love at first sight when you think you're madly in love with someone else (an idea he had after meeting his future wife). Somewhere down the pipe line, they decided on making it a queer romance; and I think it shows, because the movie is so sweet and their attraction/chemistry is never fetishized or hypersexual, it's just love and I appreciate that the movie prioritized that above all else.
I agree! I hate it when shows end right after the main plot is concluded which for Feel Good, was Mae deciding to finally come to terms of what happened to her as a teenager and to move toward the future which the future was being with George. Mae is not magically better. She has to actually do the actions and I would love a third season of them being a healthy couple and Mae working on herself.
You have to check out Motherland Fort Salem on hulu and Freeform!! It's an absolutely amazing show and very underrated. It's about witches in the military and two of them are gay!
ok but who's responsible for choosing that kiss instead of the flower shop kiss????? i just wanna talkkkkk seriously tho, Bly Manor is a must watch 👀 please listen to us kakskks
so who are your fav gays ships?? maybe we'll react to those next 🤭 p.s. if u want more, we rated lesbian tension! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GOxCDS7pJ-E.html
You guys are adorable but look super similar. They always say you are either attracted to someone who looks just like you or someone who looks like the polar opposite. Love this vid!
Some of these you have to watch the whole show or movie to understand the context fully. Like Dani and Jamie from The Haunting of Bly Manor - their kiss should be in God Tier. Same for Ammonite - take into account the time period of the film and the taboo of being gay and their kiss makes more sense; and would get a higher rating.
OH MY GOSHHHH THIS MAKES ME WANNA CRY thats so cute of your friend!! :') its so exciting that someone across the world will be wearing my merch / matching with me ahhh
I love your channel!! You helped me a lot to discover myself as a lesbian princess, kisses for you and your girlfriend. P.S: I loved the video!! ♥🧡💛🤍💓💖💗🌈
You make this video is so cool and well ! Don't never give up ! I hopefully you remember take care of yourself and stay away from Corona Virus ! Miss ! 😄💐
omg ive seen the 100! (i think i stopped half way thru season 3 tho). idk if you saw, but we did react to one scene from the 100 in the 'rating lesbian tension' video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GOxCDS7pJ-E.html) BUT there's probs more scenes than just that one right??? i cant remember if i saw any others lol
@@laurenelloise yea the ending wasn’t all that good the storyline sort of got lazy, but I really enjoyed the characters throughout the whole show that’s what made me stay.
ahhhhh loved this sm but for next time y’all need to do shoni from the wilds, alicia & leighton from the sex lives of college girls, bradley and laura from the morning show, maya and carina from greys/station 19, calzona from greys & kaimelia from greys :)
You girls need to rate the kissing scene from period BBC drama - Fingersmith released in 2005, between Sue and Maud ( Sally Hawkins and Elaine Cassidy). Such sensual romance between the two! Fingersmith is a Victorian lesbian romance by Sarah Waters, highly recommended you girls read the book!
bro there’s so many shows that have- sapphic moments 😏 dickinson, i know what you did last summer, the sex lives of college girls, motherland fort salem and more but i’d probably be here forever if i listed them all
Yay new video. I love it so much. I actually finished Orange is the new black today. Yay there is a few that I did not watch so I can go and watch them. I need new movies and series. Great video like always so cute. Stay you. Aww the kiss at the end was sooo cute. I love the way you two look at each other
Yet again another amazing video, they are honestly the only thing I love watching on RU-vid. Thank you for putting in the effort to make amazing videos. 💖
I know that it's just tier language, but the Watermelon Woman was NOT directed by a straight man. It was directed by a Liberian-American lesbian. And it's one of the few actual films that actually delves into the intersection of race and queerness, so I genuinely hope you are willing to actually watch the film at some point in the future and aren't just going to jump to conclusions based on 5 awkward seconds of a kiss.
