REACTING TO LOUIS TOMLINSON'S "THE AWAY FROM HOME FESTIVAL" (For his birthday!!) 

Louis might deceive you with a bad boy vibe but he is a total softie. he does tons of charity, calls fans "love" and "darling", loves hugs and calls them "cuddles", has fairy lights up all over his house, wears coziest sweaters with sweater paws, loves kids and dogs, blushes when someone blows him a kiss and his eyes sparkle when he meets fans during album signings.

"we'll end just like we started, just you and me and no one else" gets me everytime cos louis grew up without a dad. his dad left like a week after he was born, so it was always just louis and his mom.

Louis opened up in an interview that in one direction, he felt as if he did not contribute enough. And when he was finally finding confidence, they broke up. He struggled with self doubt and felt he was not good enough to have a solo career. He thought about writing lyrics for others. It was his late mom who convinced him to pursue a solo career and the lyrics to just hold on are i believe inspired by her words. ❤

the livestream shown in the documentary actually has a Guinness book world record and the money he made from it was donated to the touring crew who were unemployed due to pandemic and to other charities.

The thing I love the most about Louis doing this type of festival is that he invites artists that he likes to perform. Most of these artists aren't as recognized as they probably should be so the festival is a great way of giving them more exposure!

Everything that Louis has ever achieved has been on his own. Without any help from a label or radio. It's just him and his Louies. Even for this free festival, he didn't have a proper label and proper promo so all the money came from his own pocket. And Louis also livestreamed it for the fans who didn't get a chance to attend on veeps. For that we were being charged money (though it was very affordable), he felt bad and attached the mini documentary too for that reason. He's just the most precious human being in the world and I'm so proud him and proud to be his Louie

Louis is so inspiring one of his goals was to perform at festivals so he decided to create his own. The Away From Home Festival is an annual thing they had the second one this year and the capacity was twice as much as last year. He also uses the festival to give opportunities to newer artists/bands (he’s a sweetheart). Louis said he wants to do the festival in a different country every year, turn it into a multiple day thing, have multiple stages and allow camping. For the food, Louis makes sure that there is plenty of variety such as having vegan and halal options I know that may seem like the bare minimum but not many festivals think about these kinds of things. You can tell that when Louis does something he thinks about it all the way through and tries to be very inclusive. He’s a good man with a heart of gold and a beautiful mind and soul

Louis only tweeted about it maybe 1-2 mths in advance due to covid. Fans went into a draw for the free tickets and traveled from all over to see Louis on stage again! The rest of us tuned in via the livestream ❤ it was very special and I’m sooo proud of everything he’s done, he’s worked so hard. Also love his relationship with his vocal coach, band and family! Genuinely the worlds sweetest most adorable rockstar 🥹

Since you like Louis, I suggest listening to Niall Horan! He was another member of One Direction and his music is absolutely amazing. He has 2 great albums, Heartbreak Weather, his second album is more upbeat but has some ballads and his first album, Flicker, is more calm with a few upbeat songs. If u have time check him out 😊 He also has another album coming soon that hasn’t been officially announced but he’s talked about it!

I love this concert! I became a fan barely a year ago. So all of this was already released. So Faith in the Future was the first time I watched a video release, an album release. I really love Louis voice, singing and talking he is so clear with what he wants to say. Yes the first Festival was free. If you notice that the 2020 concert was for charity that would be 2 free concerts... good thing he made money with 1D so he prefers not to charge expensive prices for the concert tickets. I love Louis covers of 1D and other bands
