one of the things I'm really proud for MISAMO about is that they had a like 5 day debut showcase in Japan that had over 50,000 tickets sold HOWEVER, there was OVER 600,000 applicants! They are absolutely beloved in Japan
this whole MV of Do not Touch referenced so many art pieces. like in 5:45 where u asked if it's mermaid, it's actaully a reference to a renaissance (i think) painting called The Birth of Venus (roman version of Aphrodite). and so many many other art masterpieces
Austin, we here in Brazil were treated to a live performance of Do Not Touch during the tour. Misamo They were super happy and surprised that Brazilian fans sang the whole song from beginning to end.
The MISAMO project was definitely a highlight last year. One of my favorite releases, second to ZONE, Jihyo's album which I'm also really excited for you to check. Plugging in, fingers crossed, for anything from their live performances once again. Hehe. 🍭
both Momo and Mina are main dancer's, they have very different dancing styles Momo's being more sharp while Mina's more flowy (idk about dancing, just my opinion) and that's probably why Mina sometimes gets overlooked
MISAMO released “Bouquet” on January 25, 2023. It was their true pre-release as MI-SA-MO, it is a beautiful song that talks about rediscovering yourself in your childhood and warmly comforting your heart with a positive message regarding not stop striving for a better future
also OST for japanese drama 'Liaison -Children's Heart Clinic-'. for the song story-line also kind of like a loop 'as someone who might feel worthless but got help by other, and give help to another person' the message (for me) kind of like 'everyone are worthy' (to be, to do, to help). anyway, have a good day. :)
TWICE are always generous & genuine with the length of their mini & full album; their mini usually have 7/6 songs & full album have more than 10 songs; For masterpiece reaction please try to include the stages (Do not touch;Funny valentine;behind the curtains;its not easy for u ect) cause they are so good 🙏(if there is a risk, u can add an invisible filter to the stages if u had trouble;I hope u get lucky & dont have problems!
i think TWICE talking about this somewhere, Mina is the one who first mastering the choreo, and Momo who first make the Choreo be her own. other a want to talk is Chaeyoung, lately, her pose during Choreo is crazy. for me, this 'masterpiece' EP. is good. (as i know, TWICE's EP. is around 7 songs, full length album around 12 songs) anyway, have a good day. :)
i love the aesthetics of this album and all the art references in the concept photos and the mv and how each song has a different vibe, it's so cool to see the members outside of twice
So about Twice albums... Their mini albums have 6-7 songs, their korean full albums have +10 songs, their japanese albums have 9-10 songs and they have the #twice albums that are japanese version of multiple title tracks and sometimes b-sides The ones you talked about like 2 songs and a bside are single albums, Twice has a few for their japanese releases! Happy Happy and Breakthrough were released together, Better and Strawberry Moon (Better is a Hit), Kura Kura and Scorpion (Kira Kura is also a HIT), Doughnut and Wonderful Day (both christmas HITS), Hare Hare and Catch a Wave they have their 5th japanese album coming in july, right before their last 6 concerts from Ready To Be World Tour that will happen in 3 different stadiums in Japan
Momo has always been the 3rd rapper of Twice and she's has actually been getting more bars of late. Sana dancing more sensually is, well a duh moment lol, no Sana no life. Mina learning to control Sharon has made her even more amazing (my theory to the real reason for her hiatus). OT9 forever (TIMELESS).
ALSO! Momo wrote Funny Valentine (she said it was about her dogs??), Mina wrote it's not easy for you (bc apparently she knows we're obsessed with her that nefarious woman) and Sana wrote Rewind You
Momo and Mina both have technical backgrounds in dancing. Though different mediums. Momo's background is in hip-hop style dancing and Mina's is in ballet. That's why at times their technique looks a little more precise and the execution looks a little different.
Mina has great extensions so you can really see full movements when she moves because certain styles of ballet rely a lot on extending and being able to fully complete a movement to be accurate and aesthetically pleasing. Momo has really good isolations and can really hit certain moves very sharply. Sana does really well in dances but there are times when you can see the difference in her dancing. Overall though all three of them are incredible dancers.
