I have been the same, remember watching it before the season started and thinking no chance we are finishing 24th. I thought we would be pushing for the playoffs but we have a genius in charge.
@@SuperKinlo i felt the we would be top 10 after the 2-0 home win against shrewsbury in L1 i just hope bayern pick a manager from germany or at least not the prem so we keep KM then just give me 17th for next season and id take it
@@adamblamplate3657 think he will be on lots of shortlists. Most established prem teams outside the big 6 probably have him very high. I’ve just enjoyed the time he has overseen and will continue to enjoy the period he is here.
Context and all I still have Derby as his worst one. Because the team was in a financial meltdown, sold everyone and he still thought they were going up. Ipswich bottom was insane, but nobody had them 2nd.
As italian, i sympathise with Ipswich, my dad met an young Ipswich player (Tony Kinsella) at the Viareggio tournament in the early 80's, they shared a beer together after a match my dad was watching...he watched the last Ipswich game and he had a really big smile after they qualified to the premier league😅
If it was the early 80s that might have been the Bobby Robson Ipswich team, they were a very good side. They got promoted to then top league, The First Division, came runners up then won the UEFA Cup. Bobby Robson was given the England job and built his reputation entirely on his performance as Ipswich manager. I'm really not surprised your dad has a fondness for them, it must have been a nice experience.
I love stories like these. I‘m german and my grandpa was next to his german Club also a big Fan of Blackburn just because he met someone who was a full blood Blackburn Fan😂
yeah but no-one on the planet thought that they were gonna get relegated, certainly not rock bottom!!! there was so much hype around ipswich preseason and lots of people had them around the top 10, which is a better prediction than 24th!
I recently read my diary from a year ago and l thought then Town would do well although l did not like to tempt fate. But then l watch Town regularly and knew they were good
As a birmingham fan, seeing you predict us 23rd at the start of the season made me excited for a playoffs spot. Why oh why did we have to be one of the few you got near enough perfect!
The Ipswich predictions is basically like when you thought Leicester City will get relegated from the Premier League back in 2015/16 season, only to see them having an opposite feat by winning the whole thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope Irish Guy does this for other league tabels! Someone else and myself on an older Irish Guy video suggested doing something like this, so yeah happy to see it.

There's a lot of criticism for predicting Ipswich to finish bottom, but Sheffield Wednesday to get in the play off's and finish above Leicester is something else 🤣
Sorry but the one certainty in the Championship is that if Rotherham are in it they are finishing 24th and this dude predicted Ipswich 24th?! Everything else is up in the air but not Rotherham. They will finish bottom and be back again in 2 years to do it all again Norwich one of the biggest yoyo teams between the Prem and Chmapionship. This has surely got to be purposefully poor predicting for content, no one is this silly
You can call yourself lucky to only be 8 places out with the millwall prediction too! If it wasn't for a late run of great form under Neil Harris, it would've been much worse than that!

Adding up the wrong places, I have a score of -120, which is only 44 better than Irish Guy

I am gonna give you some slack over the Ipswich prediction. Nobody expected it. However, having Leicester lower than 3rd deserves a check on your brain. Your worst ever prediction was still saying Derby County 2nd a couple of years ago.
@@Micfri300 Parma had a 44 yo Buffon holding them back. And Leicester squad had just too much class. Now, in the PL, with Enzo, they might go back down but they will sack him and bring probably someone like Lopetegui to save the day.
@JoseFranco9 they spent ridiculous amounts in the last 3 seasons and finally got promoted.. I still believe maresca is fit for managing Leicester. But hey he got there just in the nick of the game.
You literally thought Norwich and Ipswich would get rejected but yrt they could both get promoted now so you need t0 to do better next season as Derby and Portsmouth are back
I can't find a league table prediction I did but this was my autos, play-offs and relegation predictions: Automatics : Leicester and Boro Play-Offs: Southampton, Sunderland, Leeds, Milwall Relegated: Sheff Weds, Cardiff, QPR I got Leicester up automatically and Saints + Leeds in play-offs right but otherwise stinkers To be fair Sheffield Weds and QPR did look doomed until they replaced Munoz/Ainsworth - had no idea Rohl and Cifuentes were going to come in and do fantastic jobs
