4:08 To be fair, the slide speed challenge was the last star I ever got on my first playthrough of SM64, because I didn't think one could spawn if you were fast enough. For one who doesn't read every sign in the game, thoroughly, there's not much indication that that star exists at all.

These are still some of my favorite videos from Nathaniel. It’s always really nice to see a RU-vidr going back and reacting to some of their older videos and realize that there’s a lot stuff wrong with them. Also yes I absolutely agree with you on getting 100 coins on Rainbow Ride. I can’t tell you how many times that star has made me rage and even if you’re an expert at speedrunning the game with speedrunning there are so many ways you could fail at getting 100 coins very fast. And to be honest Rainbow Ride is honestly not my favorite level either. Because there’s just way too much waiting involved when you’re using the magic carpets and even if there’s still obstacles to avoid it doesn’t change the fact that it’s just way too slow.
