This is not hate at all !..... ,but i personally don't think you're experienced enough to do a video like this,....a lot of the enclosures were not the best, ( not hating on the people) and by you telling them that they're good might make them think that what they're doing is perfect and that way they might not try to upgrade the enclosure and things in it in the future. I think you're doing a good job trying to make your hamster as happy as possible, but there's still soo much to learn and so i really don't think that this video is that great, but i wish you the best and your hamster is adorable :)
@@waltergrove2657 They weren’t trying to be rude they were just telling her because she shouldn’t tell people that their bad cages are good. And I personally can do better (not trying to be rude) as I know a ton of things about hamsters and their care.
Both of her bin cages have 450 inches of floor space or more, so its just a option if she wanted to add another bin cage, its not like shes connecting 2 small cages together and both of them add up to 450 inches of floor space, just letting you know.
That one bin cage though with all the plants and natural wood 😍 this video with all the good sized cages and proper hamster cage made me so happy! Not one critter trail!
Hi the cage with the clear wheel is mine! It is from a brand called Bogie. I got it from a dutch website bol.com. It is 27cm (10.6inch) Unfortunatly the hamster passed away two days after submitting😭. Not sure what happened but I am heartbroken. He passed in my hands😥
@@irisrijntje5694 that's always hard when that happens. Years ago my brother brought home their hamster from his class at school for the summer. Her named was peach and they knew she was going to pass soon. But she died too in his hands.
It really depends on the hamster’s size. My robo fits perfect on her 6.5 in wheel with zero back bending. But I personally wouldn’t recommend it for any hammy besides a small robo.

can someone help my hamster has about a 510 square inch (i think inches) bin cage. He keeps trying to escape and keeps scratching at the bin cage walls or whatever you call them. He has a wooden bridge, great food, water, lots of chews, sand pit, hides, tunnels, etc. I just don’t understand why he does this and it’s worrying me. I don’t want my hamster to be stressed :( I just got him about 3 days ago and I have not been messing with him either. please help! edit: I even take him in this HUGE hamster proof room and all he wants to do is escape and he looks really stressed and its giving me really bad axiety
you can try upgrading his cage a little but if you got him a few days ago he is getting used to the enviroment since you got him 2-3 days ago yu can start handleing him if you need more help watch Victoria Raechel on yt im not an expert but if he keeps doing this maybe upgrading a littele will be better
I finally updated my hamsters cage after 2 years, put my foot down that I wanted a bigger one and got my mum to drive us. So at least now she's got tons of room to run and climb.
Ok so I totally agree with her saying they want there cages to be crowded because I had a cage for her with bars it was big enough it was 540 square inches and she climed the bars and bit on them so I added a lot of toys, herbs, hides, bridges and chews and she has been so much more happier
egg cartons are very enriching and i tend to scatter some food or forage mix on the top or inside , the hamster loves them.victoria rachel made a super hideout with cereal boxes and toilet roll tubes...another great idea for entertainment if you are on a budget.,or maybe diy puzzles made with even more toilet paper tubes are good.
Can I please ask you a question. Ive just adopted a syrian hamster and she is approx 9 momths old. She came with a rainbow wheel and flying saucer wheel that was only 7inches and her back was arching sonI took it out. Should I get her a bigger one or should Syrians not have them...? Hamster 🐹
I believe flying saucers are fine as long as you have at least the 12 inch since that is the smallest Syrian size they come in. However, I believe a much better option would be to just get a 10in + sized regular wheel for your hamster. It will take up less space in the cage compared to a flying saucer and I think your hamster would enjoy it more too! :))

I don’t think you should be doing a video like this because you have a bin cage- I understand it’s expensive but don’t get a hampster if you can’t afford it... my Russian dwarf has 959 square inches of floor space. I just can’t believe you think u can judge people. My dwarf has a nite angel 12 inch wheel. I would recommend watching Victoria. Not trying to hate trying to help
Just because she has a bin cage, doesn't mean she shouldnt do a video like this, bin cages are great cages, she has alot of space for her hamsters, and lots of toys and enrichment, of course you can always do better. But her cage is still a really good cage. Some people perfer to buy expensive cages, and some people perfer to go on a budget when getting a hamster. That doesnt mean they dont have enough money for a hamster. Just because you can buy expensive cages, doesnt mean others will. Bin cages are a really good choice, so just because she has one doesnt mean shes taking care of her hamster less. She also has a 12 inch wheel.
Lol I built a cage exactly like 17:10 with my dad a few years ago. great for a hamster but now I use it for my mouse. he love it, it is very well suited but I would build it with front doors because he has a lot of hanging toys and having to lift the lid and mess up the toys is obnoxious.

To be honest I would be cautious with handing out advices when your own enclosure leaves quite a lot to be desired and especially if you’re new to hamster care. It can come across as a little hypocritical.
I completely get what your saying but I just want to let you know that I am not at all new to hamster care and have owned hamsters for over 7 years. I also acknowledge that my cage is not the best cage out there and didn’t say it was better than anyone else’s. I just thought it would be fun to make a video like this and everyone who sent in their cages knew that I wasn’t trying to be mean or anything like that.
I rlly want you to do mine, mine have a 50 gallon connected to another bin I think it’s a 30 gallon maybe and has lots of enrichment, tunnels, lots of bedding, water bowl and water bottle, wheel I forget how big but it’s rlly big😂, and more!Oh yea and a sand bath ofc😂
I made a bridge for my hamster to go in and out of his sandbox but he doesn’t even use it he just climbs out the side😂( it is rlly easy for him to go out the side)

The spider plants - are they safe to be chewed on? I’m not sure if my hamster is chewer yet, but I’d love to add a small plant in her cage if its safe!
Yes they are safe, but they grow new plants and i'm pretty sure they bloom which in that case all you need to do is cut the new parts of the plant where it starts blooming because the flower is unsafe. Other than that it's a great adition to an enclosure. Erins animals has a video on plants in hamster enclosures and she talks about spider plants too so make sure to check it out.

I’m not trying to be mean at all! *disclaimer* but a lot of these cages are not appropriate and u said they were I really think u should brush up on your hamster knowledge cuz a lot of stuff u were saying was not the best advice I agree with the other comment on here please don’t make “advice” videos unless u know the advice your giving is the best and proper care which a lot what u said is not! Again not trying to be mean but I get frustrated with people trying to follow in munchies place, Victoria Rachel, and Erin’s animals footsteps when they don’t have the knowledge that they do. Oh by the way Syrians need a 12” wheel not a 8-10”
