Today i’ll be reacting to my subscribers hamster cages! You guys have been asking me to do this for a really long time and i really enjoyed making this video for you all. This will be Part 1 of 2 videos i filmed and part 2 will be out next week. It was so lovely to be able to see all of your hamsters and hamster cages and every single one of you making the effort to provide correct hamster care. The hamster community is full of such a wonderful bunch of people and you also gave my a load of cage ideas for my hamster too. It was great to see so many natural items for hamsters as we all know i love a natural cage. I also felt like i got to know you guys a little better. Thank you to everyone who sent in a submission i tried to get through as many as i possibly could so if yours wasn’t included in part 1 be sure to check out part 2 next week :)

I've noticed a lot of people struggle with fitting a good height of bedding in bar cages without disrupting the wheel. If you detach the wheel of most hamster wheels from the base you can turn the base upside down, and then attach it to the top of the cage so the wheel doesn't need to sit on the ground.

The 4th cage has a Syrian living in it but also has a very small wheel. It wasn't mentioned as a suggestion to get a 12 inch wheel so I am instead. Please get a larger wheel for your hamster 😍😍

Hey, the second one was mine I got the star thing from parrotessentials, the substrate border is 20cm it is more built up at the back just my little hammy likes to climb but I will make sure to put in more bedding for him thank you for the lovely feedback and the comment

Right now, I have a robo dwarf named Fable. I have her in a bin cage but I’m hoping to upgrade, I just don’t know if I want to DIY or get the Niteangel cage. I’m also debating on whether or not I’d like to get a Syrian. I’ve owned more than one hamster before. I’m probably going to call around to all the pet stores and see if they have any unwanted senior hamsters that need adopting, rather than purchasing a young one. I already checked all the human society’s within 100 miles as well as pet adoption sites and there isn’t any hamsters.

What bathing sand do you use?

i use the Desert sand from pets at home :) (the standard colour with no added calcium)

@@TianiSimoneX we don’t have pets at home in Ireland I use tiny friends farm sand but heard mixed stories about it so I ordered chinchilla sand off zooplus it’s 100% quartz sand and dust free

Yeah I’ve heard the same about tony friends farm I think the UK formula is fine as it’s different to the US one but it is still pretty dusty so hopefully the chinchilla sand will be a little better for you x
