Reacting to ONEWE(원위) - Regulus, Veronica, Universe_! 

Hey, during Universe_, DON'T apologize for crying. The song and music video are perfectly created to reach and pull out emotion and love from your heart. I think crying needs to be a bit more normalized in society. I will tell people a fact that tears contain 3 main components; water, salt and chemicals. The chemicals actually change based on the emotion we are feeling, and they are a physical outlet of the emotions we feel. Tears are not a sign of weakness, they are a signal of the strength and depth of our humanity. Especially with your story with your grandmother, there is no reason to apologize for your emotions. ONEWE's music is truly special in how it comes from their hearts and soul, and with their musical skill that emotion crosses any language barriers to make a song like Universe_, which is universal in its impact. I have watched over 20 reactions of this song, and I have only seen one person NOT get emotional over this song. The MV is also a rare gem which matches the song and lyrics so we'll it takes to song to a new level. I'm so glad that you have found and love ONEWE and will listen to more of their music, it is worth it. One last note!!!! OnEWE is having an online concert next month!! CyA's cat ears from Veronica were made with his own braided hair! Us Onewe fans are called WeVes, it's a combination of the words Onewe and Move, the galaxy theme is just kinda their thing, it started as Kanghyun (guitarist) creating songs that had a space type concept (like Regulus and Parting, inspired by books and dreams he's had) and now it's become kind of like a must in all their songs. Also Universe's lyrics were made with no romantic implications so that fans can apply them to whoever their universe is, as in the video they show different types of love: a friend, a pet, a lover or a family member, everyone that you love is part of your universe.

Onewe went through a lot of hardships that's why they make songs like these. I truly feel every single bit of 'em. Don't be sad, everything's going to be damn good, everything has a reason to occur.

There are so many comments under Universe_ MV saying they are crying listening to it. It made Weves remember their beloved ones. Me too. So you're not alone.

So about Regulus, the story line of the lyrics is somewhat like this: I live on this planet/star called Regulus (alternatively called the Nocturnal Planet) where it's permanently dark as if it's always nighttime and there's this flower growing here that never withers and it reminds me of you, so even though you're on Earth and the distance between us enormous I hope you still remember me even if I were to disappear (I'm guessing they mean if they die or in star metaphors they stop burning/emitting light) without you knowing. I can hear your footsteps across the galaxy as if we're connected and I want to tell you that I've been in isolation so long that I don't remember anyone else but you, because you're like a flower waiting to bloom and this actual flower next to me makes me think about you so that I can't forget you.

Their songs are so meaningful. I read it somewhere and took notes. Fandom name came from combining “Onewe” with the word “move”. It means both to go forward and to touch someone emotionally. Therefore, “WEVE” means to go forward with ONEWE and for ONEWE and their fans to touch each other’s hearts.

The inspiration for Veronica was Cya's (rapper, bass player) first love when he was at winder garden, the girl called Veronica and in the song he is talking about and island where he can tell she about his feelings

They really like write songs about universe, stars and things like that, even kanghyun have a serie of universe' songs, some of they are regulus, star, cosmos, orbit, etc

They'll start selling tickets soon. And if you want to get a feel for what they're like live, I highly recommend their performance on "I'm LIVE" that's up on RU-vid (Ep. 188). Edit: I commented before I finished watching the video, so I want to add that you definitely don't need to apologize for crying, losing a loved one is always tough and the pain will just bubble up unexpectedly every now and then.

You asked about why "stars" kept showing up in the lyrics; I'm not sure this is the reason, but it might be because Kanghyun (the guitarist, who composes many of their songs) is interested in space. And then I think the other members also gravitated towards that subject, so their past two mini albums (Planet Nine: Alter Ego and the recent Planet Nine: Voyager) have somewhat kept with that theme, even in several songs composed by other members. I think every reactor ive seen has cried watching universe for the first time. I think because it shows all the different types of love humans experience and so we all feel moved by one of the scenes, romantic, friendship, parent, grandparent, pet.

Thank you for this reaction. I would like to recommend A.C.E - "Take me higher" or "Higher" and FTISLAND - "Unthinkable". And you don't need to be sorry about your emotions. I also lost my grandma and I totally get that you can't hold these emotions in all the time and music especially can make us feel things much stronger so this is totally understandable.
