Highly recommend. veronica it’s an upbeat song like end of spring so i think you will really like it! Also reminisce about all and book of memory and STUNNING. Both showcase vocals so well! Also Star has a super catchy melody!! But any onewe song you decide to pick will be amazing as they have a flawless discography!! So glad you found Onewe 💕

a fun thing with the leader transfer thing is the fact that everyone still acknowledges kanghyuns former status. fans always refer to yonghoon and kanghyun as "leader line," and although harin is older than kanghyun, their "official" order (i.e. the order their names are listed in official posts and the order that solo teasers are released) puts kanghyun right after yonghoon

Only hoon and kang went into the military, Harin hasn't gone yet. He was the babysitter of the babies while the two were away we like to say hahaha although myeong took the leader role after winning a game of rock paper scissors temporarily 😂😂😂😂

You got the members right. When you're new to a group it helps when they always stand in the same order. Their label mates and seniors Mamamoo do the same thing. Speaking of Mamamoo and their label, one of the things you can count on with any group under RBW is top tier vocals. Between Mamamoo, Vromance, Oneus, Onewe and Purple Kiss RBW has a disproportionately high percentage of the best M & F singers among 3rd & 4th gen groups considering the size of the company compared to the big kpop agencies. As you'll soon discover, one of Onewe's strengths is their emotional ballads like Parting, A Book in Memory and Universe (dunno why Universe wasn't recommended to you!), where Yonghoon really shows his vocal talent. But since you like more upbeat, catchy pop songs you might prefer Veronica and 0&4 or the rocker Montage. The End of Spring MV includes cameos by label mates Oneus and Purple Kiss among the dancers along with their friend, soloist AleXa, who's not with RBW but is like everyone's kid sister. AleXa is under Z Label, which is run by Zany Bros, a video production company who has done many MVs for RBW. There's lots of cross-pollination among RBW groups. Onewe has done collabs with Oneus (and AleXa), Mamamoo's Hwasa is featured on Onewe's song Q, and Giuk made a cameo in a Purple Kiss MV. They've also done terrific covers of Mamamoo's Hip and Hwasa's Twit along with other cool, rockin' covers of songs by girl groups and female singers, which you can find on their yt channel, and they backed up Mamamoo several times at award shows for rock versions of Mamamoo hit songs, etc. Always love to see collabs, covers, mutual support and friendship among idols.

#ONEWE is krock/pop band older brothers of ONEUS under the same agency RBW Inc. They were previously debuted as #MAS0094 back in 2015 but their agency went bankrupt and they moved had to move to RBW. With that said, ONEWE #DongMyeong and ONEUS Xion (aka Dongju) are fraternal twin brothers. *Reacting to either band or group or vice vera, it’s essential to check both unless you know ONEUS and/or ONEWE already.*

BTW they write, produce and arrange their songs except for one or two. Main writers are Yonghoon singer, Kanghyun guitarist and Giuk the bassist. Dongmyeong keyboardist and Harin have also written songs.

Their album series are so good👍. They're have no bad songs but for me, Planet Nine have to be on your list🔥

You're right, they used old and broken instruments and equipment for the Rain to Be MV. And you're in luck, because there's a making of for it on onewe's youtube channel! You got it right, Yonghoon does play the keyboard but I think the only MV where he does it is Starlight from back when they were known as M.A.S. 0094. So usually it's Dongmyeong on the keys. For the next reactions I'd recommend Montage_ and Veronica for faster paced songs and Universe_ and Parting for beautiful slower songs/ballads.

ONEWE's Giuk is actually good friends with The Boyz' Sunwoo, who also knows Stray Kids' Han... so in my delusional head I'm waiting for those three to make a song together. Sunwoo and Giuk have made music together for years, but I need Han on the track so three of my biases can work together. And both Dongmyeong and his twin Dongju (Xion/pronounced "She-on") have that same energy where they just attract people with their sassy baddie energy. Dongmyeong is the more tame one, though, because Dongju bites. Finally, fun fact about "end of spring"! The people dancing around them are actually mostly their labelmates! Trainees, Purple Kiss, Alexa, ONEUS, etc. The happy energy is so genuine because they all know each other and are having fun with friends. If you ever have time, I suggest checking out more of their songs. They have such incredible songs and a variety of moods for those songs. Their lyrics are always so so beautiful, so you'll never feel bored.

All of Onewe’s discography is incredible. They’re all lovely and funny, too. Also, their first single (written by Giuk at 15) had its proceeds donated to the Comfort Women charity. Just so underrated. When you were narrowing down dongmyeong and comparing the gravity picture but then talked about the vision with Xion 💀lol Personal favourites are From_ and Cosmos they’re the prettiest, prettiest songs. I adore space and flower and fate based lyrics so Onewe are perfect 😅

Kanghyun was the leader at first.. Kanghyun and Harin met at their music academy, where they also met Giuk, you recruited Dongmyeong who was his friend and neighbour.. the four played as session band at singing competitions, playing at one Yonghoon won, Harin went up to him with a cup of coffee and asked him to join them.. and he did.. Harin has not yet enlisted, and with reparations, he can fix pc’s, the microwave etc.

Instruments were sacrificed in the making of Rain to Be. Also it should be a crime that Universe_ is not on your list (as well as the rest of their catalog).

Obligatory question for "End of Spring". Did you notice all the cameos? My favorite Onewe song is Parting.

I would actually add more of their b-sides to your list... you have to listen to Cosmos as well. Erasure as well.

This is my ult group and Yonghoon is my ult bias. Once I found this group they just took over. They have a new album and a new lightstick so I have decreased by savings and am now waiting patiently for them to arrive. They just create no-skip albums and so you will get all kinds of b-sides as recommendations.

Regulus was the first song i heard from them and is still my fav 2 years later. There are some lives they've done where Kanghyun(guitarist) and Yonghoon(main vocalist) mirror each other during the last chorus and it is so amazing

hint for bass vs guitar that I go by: if a bass has more than 4 strings, the neck is BEEFY! guitars can have 7+ strings that beef out the neck too, but basses get much beefier much faster! I don't know if you've checked out the band LUCY, but their bassist likes to use a 6-string and when I first saw it, I was very intimidated by how big his hands must be in order to play it lol

Both Yonghoon and Dongmyeong have strong stage presence, but in a very different way. Yonghoon is more emotional and feeling the ballads (i swear he can wrench your heart out with his voice+facial expression combo) while Dongmyeong is more playful and engaging the audience. (kind of like the usual dancing ‘idol’ stage presence)

1:59 Yes now but originally ONEUS debuted as a 6-member group 😭 former oldest RAVN was unfairly trapped in a false controversy and got boycotted jealously by immature ANTIs/Toxic Sasanegs claiming that he cheated on mysterious self-proclaimed gf but yet he has not been in any type of known relationship since ONEUS debuted in Jan 2019 but instead of defending himself, he left in order to protect his brothers from further unnecessary damage.

ty for reacting! sorry in advance for a long ass coment was really fun to see u struggling and trying to figure out who is who haha, u got them all right tho! they just made a comeback! the song is gorgeous subbed for more onewe! my recs would be universe_ , star, montage_, veronica, reminisce about all, okay I'm gonna stop or I'll list all of their discography will u check out a guide? the best one is by ollie0094 "one band five members many reasons to love them" (the longer one 30min ish) btw harin haven't gone to the army yet, only leader line (yonghoon the main dude the leader and kanghyun the guitarist and the ex leader) did also yonghoon can play guitar and piano but it doesn't mean he does in their mvs; i mean he sometimes plays guitar acoustic or electric, but he never played piano in mvs (except for one time when they were mas0094) and kanghyun and harin don't sing in onewe songs at all fun fact: oneus, purple kiss (same agency girl group) and alexa (u can call her a friend of their agency) are in the mv of end of spring and I have to say that end of spring is one of the only two songs onewe weren't the main writers/composers of (the other one being star) like yeah onewe make all of their discography themselves: write lyrics, compose and arrange, they don't mixing tho iirc; covers too! they have amazing covers for example: regulus, aurora and rain to be are kanghyun's songs, gravity is yonghoon's and u can call end of spring a giuk's song, tho the main creator was their agency's producer, but giuk's contribution was the biggest out of the members those three are the main songwriters in onewe harin and dongmyeong have some credits on their bsides tho; and when I say "it's _insert name_ song" i mean he's the main creator but others most likely contributed too they are so talented! I get u btw, it's so hard to choose a bias, I didn't choose one for a loooong time, and I think it's not necessary, I was 5-biased for a while (and yonghoon at some point became my bias but I love each one of them)

So happy to see this reaction to ONEWE! They are so talented, and are the main composers (and the main lyricists) for most of their songs. Regarding Rain To Be filming, as with most MVs, the sound is recorded separately in the studio, and then the MVs are performed/acted separately. For the instruments, they used already damaged instruments, because yes: the water would destroy them. Also, yessss Dongmyeong (the menace :P) has beautiful vocals and insane presence! And you're not the first to find similarities between Giuk and Han. If you want to check out more ONEWE, since you like upbeat songs I'd recommend Montage_ and Veronica, for sure! And even if slower songs aren't so much your thing, I think that Universe_ and Parting are well worth a try, they are both gorgeous. I'd also love to see your thoughts on the new album, Planet Nine: Isotropy! There is a mix of slow songs (very lovely) and some higher energy/more intense ones.

Yay im so happy you reacted to Onewe! I love this group so much they are literally my 2nd favorite group after NCT... They have my favorite vocalist ever in this group Yonghoon(he is also my bias) his voice is so beautiful like the emotions you feel when he sings is just absolutely amazing and im so happy him and Kanghyun are back from their military service!! I just watched their new comeback today and I cried watching it cuz im so happy to see OT5 again!! And Aurora that song omg its my favorite song ever!!!

Every time I listen to ONEWE I wonder how the f*ck did RBW manage to land Yonghoon because that man is just not human. He sings with the passion of someone who went through divorce 12 times, has an insane range, and godly stage presence even just standing there holding a mic (when he’s not bouncing around on the stage). He’s a powerhouse within the powerhouse of RBW vocalists.

You are totally right about Giuk and Han from stray kids. I think it's the hair/face. Especially when its fluffy/curly and dyed blond or lighter colors.
