This & the next two eps (The Russians are Coming & Christmas Crackers) are weak. However, like many sitcoms, s2 is considerably better than s1.

How can you say the the Russian are Coming is weak? The first 3 and the Christmas special are, but that one, “A slow bus to Chingford” and “second time around” are the best 3, I’d say Second time around is best and a tie for second between the others! 😱

This episode wasn't great and nor was the next 2 as well. However, S2 is so much better with some absolute crackers. I think S1 was the weakest season and I'm pretty sure some would agree to that. S2 and S3 were great; best seasons are S4 to S7 plus XMAS Trilogy 1996
