Hi Georgia - I've been a Pink Floyd fan for 48 years - since I was 16.... I was at this concert. Amazing concert. I bought the vhs video [ before dvd's were invented ] of the concert but it was edited & cut badly.....I have waited all these years for the full un-cut remastered concert & it is finally released this November 20th on both dvds & cd's either separately or a Special Edition Box set which I have pre-ordered for myself on Amazon. Incredible ! I can't wait. Pink Floyd at this concert do plenty of heavy rock as well as cool spaced out chilled tracks & some - Very emotional, like "On The Turning Away" or "Sorrow" both sooo powerful.....also tracks like "Run Like Hell" & "One Slip" or "Just Another Movie" are all mind blowing.....& they end with the most incredible "Comfortably Numb" version ever recorded. Even if you just grab the dvd - Grab it ! I promise you Georgia you will be gobsmacked & thrilled to watch this. Take care, sooo good to see you looking well. Byeee X Jim
@@InsaneBlondie You have no idea. Lol - There is just sooo much on a Pink Floyd journey - From the ultra chilled - Shine On You Crazy Diamond to the rockin' Run Like Hell.....+ all their earlier spaced out stuff - Like the amazing "Echoes" - Enjoy the journey - I promise you will never look back once you really start your search. X Jim
You are looking rested and healthy ! Thanks for the evopure info. I did see Pink Floyd when they release the Momentary Lapse of Reason album. The whole album is worth a listen.
This is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs ,David Gilmore was such an amazing talented guitar player and singer and songwriter. So glad you found cbd ,thanks Georgia
It's nice to see David on guitar, Nick on drums, but especially seeing Richard playing keyboards. I can't believe that it's been just over 12 years since he died of cancer. Another great song, the last recorded version of "Echoes" was from David Gilmour's solo album/video "David Gilmour, Live at Gdansk." After Richard died, David said he'd never play that song live again.
I absolutely love this song! I am so glad I lived long enough to see Pink Floyd in concert!! Georgia, if you liked this, you will definitely love this one: 'Pink Floyd - On The Turning Away [HQ] (Live 1988)'!!
Hi again! You should try the Pink Floyd's Album Animals from the year 1977 and then the album The Wall 1979...it is very important to listen to the songs by the record order there is a point for that! Take care be safe!
There is no way possible to tell you about a certain song by Pink Floyd....you should listen to all their records from the first one to last "BY ORDER"
The highlights from this concert are: - Learning to Fly - Sorrow - The Dogs of War - On the Turning Away - One of These Days - Time - The Great Gig in the Sky - Wish You Were Here - Us and Them - Money - Comfortably Numb - One Slip - Run Like Hell
This song Learning to Fly is from the 1988 Delicate sound of Thunder live. You need to react to the show PULSE (1994)...You need to react in PULSE at least to Wish You Were Here, High Hopes, Shine on Your Crazy Diamonds, Time, Money, Us and Then, Run Like Hell, Another Brick in the Wall and The Great Gig in the Sky
Tucker! He always brings a smile to my face whenever I see him. On a Pink Floyd note, for all of the music in Pink Floyd's catalog, I think this was the first song that I latched onto back in the day.
CBD is the stuff. i've been using it since covid started and all my work disappeared; think my depression would have spiraled out of control without it.
Sorely missing founder Roger Waters, without whom, IMO, this is not truly Pink Floyd though the other 3 longtime band members are still on the stage...
