The thing about the Wyatt Sicks is that they don't have to be an invincible force. The whole point is supposed to be that they're a family. So as long as they stick together, they succeed.

Bryan Danielson did not fire Punk. He helped his friend get out of his contract free and clear (no non-compete is crazy) and convinced Tony Kahn it was the right thing to do for his company. Bryan is a worker’s worker. #hottake

For it to be a take, it has to be an opinion that not everyone would agree on. This is a speculation/statement. Other than that, I completely agree that Bryan saw the writings on the wall and just let Punk go because it’s best for both parties. Better chances of letting Punk go than convince The Young Bucks to work with someone that’s more over than they’ll ever be.

the best take is that Steve and Larson proved Orson Welles really wouldn't have been that good of a Darth Vader. James Earl Jones was just the perfect choice.

Yeah, but his voice was so heavily altered in that movie that you can't even tell it's him. He could barely talk. He died like right after he finished that movie. Anyone could do a deep and booming voice when it's artificially manufactured in the studio to sound that way.

While on the topic of the Fiend, let’s have a Cena Vs Uncle Howdy match. Bo can make Cena remember The Fiend and what Cena did to Bray.
@TheSpektrum1989
@TheSpektrum1989 14 дней назад
y'know, I've been wanting someone to turn and join Wyatt Sicks/Sick6 so that it could actually be six. my obvious choice was Braun, but Cena being reminded of the Fun House match and then triggering some kind of sleeper agent thing within him so that he becomes like, "The Muscle Man" of the group, would be something wild.
@DamonHardin
@DamonHardin 14 дней назад
@@TheSpektrum1989 I think the 6th spot is Bray. It might not satisfy many, but I think it suits the group. Bray is the group’s version of Taker’s urn. Just a driving force. I like Braun, but IMO his highest point was yelling “I’m not finished with you!” and attacking Roman over and over. 😂I still laugh when I see clips of that. Braun became too big of a star to be put back into a group of misfits. Just my opinion. I could be wrong.

People pretend the fiend was always buried and hooked bad just bc of the weird end to that hell in a cell and losing to Goldberg but people forget everything inbetween I also love that Kross put an hour glass in the ring with Roman and Roman literally never saw him again 💀

@kmt78901
@kmt78901 14 дней назад
Bray was saddled with bad booking his entire career and how over he was despite it is truly remarkable. The argument about Punk not showing his value to WWE because of Collision is funny considering Warner almost doubled AEW's air time because they wanted to keep him around. I love AEW but since Punk left the ratings have been in a freefall on all shows. Dustin vs Hager might not seem like a big deal today but for early AEW they were literally two of the 10 biggest names in the company. Losing Cody is the biggest mistake Tony ever made, idk if it was even possible to keep him around, but it's pretty much undeniable at this point that Cody was a great asset to have backstage. I don't think the Punk drama ever happens, or at least not to the scale it happened, if Cody is still there. Danielson is being selfish by always losing big matches for the simple fact that the more he loses, the less a win over him means. Take Ospreay vs Danielson for example; literally nobody thought Danielson had a chance in hell to win that match. Was it still a great match? Yes. Would it have been even better had Danielson not eaten so many big losses? Yes.

I truly believe that Cody Rhodes was the most integral EVP. I think Kenny & The Bucks just saw AEW as an opportunity for themselves to have really good matches and set themselves up for life whereas Cody treated it like an actual company and as a businessman. Like when you look at the timeline of events it isn’t a coincidence that the company’s bad luck (the locker room drama, Tony Khan focusing more on in-ring action rather than storylines, talent constantly voicing their frustrations) started happening once Rhodes was gone. I think Cody had a lot more clout and influence within AEW than he lets on.

The Wyatt Family does not even need a title, they dont need to be a regular on the show, just sprinkle them through whenever someone did what they deem something "wrong".
@canadian__ninja
@canadian__ninja 4 дня назад
I'd take it a step further and say the supernatural side was heavily harmed _by_ going for and winning / losing titles. The Fiend should never have sniffed a title shot because it should be beneath him. At most it should have been thrust upon him, i.e. the champ saying "i'm going to defend this company against this menace (Fiend) and if I lose I don't deserve this title". Not a title match persay but something he collects by beating him and then eventually drops when it suits him.

It’s like Tony D’Angelo in nxt, why is a mob boss who does crime and throws people off bridges on National tv wrestling? We don’t really know. And until they can explain that for the Wyatt sicks they’ll always have a ceiling as to what they can do

@@shortesnameofalltime sure they explained why they came to wwe and are attacking people but that doesn’t explain why they would want to get into a ring and wrestle in a sanctioned match with a ref. If they just want revenge and to cause pain why don’t they just jump people in the parking lot? Also are you arguing that the ability to turn off the lights and produce smoke aren’t supernatural? Unless we’re supposed to believe the Wyatts have set up a smoke machine and are controlling the light switch or have paid off half the wwe crew, what else are we supposed to believe?

I'm with you guys. You can impress people with all the spooky stuff and cryptic promos in the world but at the end of every program, there is a wrestling match with kicks punches, slams and suplexes and that just doesn't jive well with the supernatural crap. And don't hit me with the Undertaker. EVERY rule has an exception. Pointing it out does not make your case.
@pnw.joshua
@pnw.joshua 14 дней назад
It’s not just Undertaker. It’s Andre, it’s Hogan, it’s the Ultimate Warrior. All of these gimmicks were unstoppable with superhuman capabilities and could overcome almost any attack from their opponents. Any character can work if the story either A. Makes fans hate them or B. Makes fans sympathetic Also, all of their opponents ran the risk of being buried if they didn’t have a story to follow up with. Piper could have easily been buried after Wrestlemania, but he was talented enough to not let that happen
