Is no joke when people say that RV eats Cd's for breakfast after watching them life. SM does a great job in their producing and mixing of their albums by preserving their induvidual sound. I loved that you mentioned the Seulgi/Wendy harmonize cause I love them and it is very unique how their voices can be incredibly distinctive and blend so well at the same time but I find that with all 5 members of RV as well. Do check out the live performance of dumb dumb specially the radio ones cause theres an epic wendy/seulgi harmony near the beginning of the last chorus!

They were so shocked at the fan chant. I believe this was an event that happened like a few hours or a day after Psycho was released, so they were not expecting the fans to know the chant yet which is why they were so giddy and surprised.

I love the original version, BUT I'm not sorry to say this one sounds so much better (Love you BoA, my queen 👑). As for the Seulgi english performance, you can find on RU-vid a snippet from a TV show of her singing "I have Nothing" by the almighty godess Whitney. She obviously can't be comparable with the original, but SHE SOUNDED SO FREAKING GOOD, in that exact moment i realized she was my favorite voice not only in Red Velvet but also in Kpop. omg here's a random fact! Seulgi is really good at drawing and just making art in general. She once uploaded a sketch portrait of Billie Eilish on instagram and Billie liked it! She's a big fan and we're hoping that she'll do a song cover of Billie one day tho 🥺
Seulgi in one segment said she played back her voice (to herself) 10000 times in practice working to get better. It shows, eh? And, you are not alone. it is not uncommon to prefer their live performances over recording. They are simply amazing.
Wendy does the first high note, seulgi the second one. Wendy does a fantastic trio with seulgi and 1st gen kpop star named Kangta called Doll that was so good. DOLL was the song Seulgi sang to get into SM. I would add "number 1" for a boa reaction. She was 15 or so when this song drove her into international stardom back in 2002. It's a bit Britney Spears but one of the foundational kpop classics

Heyy, so i think the Ladies Night is not live, i mean it’s like the audio is just pasted to the video so it does not sound live anymore, but they do have a live wherein they are on the stage.

@@wendy9481 yes i know it’s live but i think the video is kinda dubbed with the music/studio ver as well, I may not recommend that video tho and there is much more good that you can actually tell that it is live, the one that the fans watch them perform.

Btw this performance was the first time they sang together for over a year because Wendy got badly injured just after psycho came out and yes it was really bad that she took a year off. So this was basically her come back and we are glad she is doing okay
Another girl band called Bandit (styled BVNDIT) covered Psycho live and killed it. They've also done a live version of Genie by Girls Generation and were flawless. They have some great songs of their own like Dumb, Jungle, Dramatic and an English language bop called Cool. Please check them out, you won't be disappointed.

The difference in tones and textures is the very fact that makes Red Velvet the top vocal group. They are the most perfectly diverse vocal ensemble in kpop. They are also incredible talented in harmonization.
Red Velvet are vocal queens! Also I love that they harmonize, you can hear it more on their B sides. Yeah Milky Way is just a special song for reveluvs cause it's our first OT5 performance after Wendy's hiatus. We were so happy to see her being able to perform again 😭

I love watching the Psycho live. You watch Irene and Yeri fully giggling and losing it to how happy they are hearing the fanchants, because they've come so far. Joy's and Wendy's and Seulgi's smiles heard through their insane vocals. (It does have a backing track very low, which is why it's really kind un-noticeable.)
you should check out wendy seulgi and joy's performance on immortal song! i got goosebumps listening to it and they did that just a year after they debuted too. if you like songs where they get to showcase their vocals more i would recommend listening to the red and the velvet, both of the albums are really different concept wise but vocal wise theyre all going off

You can't be more right. Red Velvet also has a bunch of OSTs and you should also listen to them. A song titled "Don't Push Me" is a duet ost by Seulgi and Wendy. You'll know there how much their voices compliment each other.

Milky Way was our first time seeing Wendy back together performing with the girls since her stage accident so this cover will always be in my absolute all time favorites for eternity. Seulgi has done like "Bang Bang" By Jessie J/Ariana/Nicki Minaj, My Heart Will Go On, Titanium by Sia, to name a few. Wendy has covered...Lord...Halo by Queen B, Shallow by Miss Gaga, and a ton more. Wendy also has an amazing duet track out with John Legend called "Written in the Stars" and lord is it one of my favorite songs to sing~ It makes me happy watching you love Red Velvet because they are such an incredibly talented group of girls that are like sisters, and they deserve all the love in the entire world.

Wenseul bffs are my faves. There's a few Wenseul duets out there and they always sound great together. Wendy's voice is lighter than Seulgi's so she usually takes the topline. MMM have overall better individuals barring Wendy, but RV is a vocal unit. Them singing together is what makes them special. There's also many clips of RV singing "Stickwitu" by PCD completely acapella in their early days. Also they sang a short bit of Bad Boy and Peek-a-boo completely acapella at a festival in 2019 if you want to check it out.
