Why did Daisy not tell anyone about her lost bō staff? 😭 Like sure, she didn't before the audition but why not before leaving? Doesn't she want to take it home? Does it not have any sentimental value? Are there no CCTV cameras in the studio?

The actor who plays heath’s acting has really improved a lot in the past few seasons he’s been in.

Grace: "Heath, I'm coming for you..." Daisy just took a huge bullet for Heath and she doesn't even know it!

I understand the sentiment for more boy-girl friendships and i definitely agree that the show needs some. But i feel like heath and daisy is one of the few relationships on the show that has actual build up, compared to some that actually get together after 1 episode, (ahem, kingston and lily, amy and latroy, amy and henry) and just based off their interactions it seemed like they were setting them up for a romantic turn. But love your reactions anyway. Sad to see daisy go😢 but glad she also shook grace's confidence as well😁 and the last dance always gets me😭 bringing back lost and found songs>>>

The fact that it took two girls to sabotage her shows Daisy would've made a-troupe no problem! She would've have been great on a-troupe! I cried so hard 😢

Eldon having the solos must include a prop gave me instant flashbacks to west and his audition solo for internationals its nice to think eldon remembered that because it was such a cool idea

I’m so glad that the writers didn’t make Heath and Daisy boyfriend and girlfriend because they need way more boy and girl friendships, but I’m so sad to see Daisy go😢

ngl ethan should've been cut for using GLOVES as his prop.. that's basically just a piece of costume he didn't even use them to dance with😭 also side note but adele actually isn't wearing her recreational arm in her talking heads, in case you didn't notice!

I have a theory or just a little hope that later in the season, daisy's bo staff will be found somewhere maybe by heath and that leads to grace's exposure? I really want that to happen and i dont want the bo staff to be forgotten about because it is in the studio somewhere.

I’m sorry letting daisy go was a huge mistake also I love that they didn’t let grace on a troupe I find it so much more different than the Amanda plot

I'm happy how Daisy left, but I'm also devestated. I hope she gets mentioned some time, like maybe she got a good oppitunity, or something like that. In the end the best episode so far. ❤😢

Once again, characters using their brains, Bo staff went missing and the evidence points to grace so they suspect Grace. Characters being smart AND Lost and Found references and songs?! The season is going in the right direction 👍🏾 Also, funny enough I was listening to We Are last night 😅

I like how you were fooled by Grace twice😂 There was definitely a bit of vulnerability with her there but she’s still full of vengeance which I’m loving. I also agree with you about Izzy. I think they’re already out of Ozzy’s shadow. The dance definitely could have been more about their identity but it was still a nice prop for them to use as it could kinda symbolise both in a way. I also love that they’re using Lost and Found music again. Speaking of music, the soundtrack for S9 just dropped today!❤ Regarding Nick, it feels like they’re actually acknowledging his lack of purpose or position in the studio if he’s now confiding in Kenzie about why he tried to emulate Eldon. I don’t mind this but I think it probably would have been more effective if they used this as a reason for him being distant from the studio since Season 8B. Hopefully it’s not setting up a potential exit though because I still want Nick around even though he’s not had the same authority since Season 8A. I also agree with you about Daisy! It felt like Heath was the only one who cared about her leaving which I find odd. Everyone reacted heavily to Xander leaving. Anthony and Jett were crying when he left. Daisy even comforted Jett. So to not have anyone else other than Heath comfort her was weird. Should have had Ebby and Izzy hug her too like Heath did. They definitely should have had Daisy and Izzy share a moment together since they had a close friendship with the sunset band thing which we didn’t get to see much of. That’s probably one of the few issues I had with the episode since it was only Heath, Kenzie and Nick who acknowledged Daisy or even mention her stumble in the dance. But overall, this was still a solid episode and a sad exit for Daisy. I loved mostly everything about it. #TNS10WHEN

I feel like in the older seasons if a character didn't make a troupe they were like "oh no! i wont be able to dance at regionals!" but now its like "im never gonna see my friends again :(". honestly its kinda funny I also think that anthony and adele scene couldve been less out of nowhere if Anthony had mentioned his awkwardness in talking heads and how he wants to overcome his lack of confidence by asking someone out or something like that. i just feel like that would make the scene make more sense and I honestly think they could be cute together. one last thing is that im excited for 9b but also kinda dreading it bc s9 could be the last season and i dont rlly wanna think abt that. 😭😭

Grace and arinna aslo remind me of amanda and tess! Some examples were when emily broke her knee and amanda said ' they dont deserve it.. The team doesn't deserve it.. ' and tess said back ' yeah they do! ' so tess would be grace and amanda would be Arianna?

I’m gutted to see Daisy leave TNS.😭 I absolutely loved Heath and Daisy’s relationship and would have loved to have seen them shine further at Internationals. I think their partnership is so wonderful that it could equally work as a developing romance or just a tight and solid friendship. If Melody had been more available, I would have been fine with either because their chemistry is so strong that both could work for me. It’s very effective to have Grace and Ariana sabotage her dance as a way to set up her exit but it also hurts to watch. Like you, I also felt so much anxiety for her too at 8:09 when she and Heath locked eyes in worry as soon as Cannonball started playing. The way she started out confidently and then faltered quickly was heartbreaking. Even Heath’s reaction was gutting. Can I just say how brilliant and effectively they used the Cannonball song by quieting and slowing it down during the stressful and sad moments with Daisy dancing defeatedly without a prop and Pete dancing with his grandad’s hat while the volume and upbeat nature of the song got louder with the other dancers who were successful in making A-Troupe. This really allowed you to feel the emotions of each dancer while they performed. Ethan killed it. He was great! Anthony incorporating two props with Adele was very effective and I found Adele’s reasoning for dance to be very resonating and beautiful too. I also love how they brought back the childhood pictures with the new dancers (Ariana, Adele, Olive and Niall). This is something they haven't done since Season 6 which I appreciate. I also like how they had Daisy discover she was sabotaged by Grace but then also had Grace tell her that she should have used another prop. Grace not making A-Troupe but Ariana making it also makes their scheming feel different to Amanda which is good. Heath and Daisy’s final dance together really got the feels going. It was so bittersweet. The way you kept saying “We’re just friends” was funny😂 I still ship them but I also agree with you that it’s good that they kept them as friends for this scenario. But their chemistry is too good for me not to ship it. I also agree with you about Adele and Anthony. They’re definitely setting something up with them and while I like the idea, it did feel too rushed for Anthony to suddenly want to give her a rose felt out of nowhere. They should definitely give it more time. Hopefully it will be more of a slow burn relationship like Heath and Daisy were.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the “I dance because” and the childhood pictures. I feel like they haven’t done that since s6.

Daisy leaving got me crying fr… honestly I feel like she was one of the only characters from 8B who the viewers were invested in.

I like the Adele and Anthony storyline. I think it's realistic. Teenagers fall quickly. Plus, even one afternoon with someone, you can fancy them and be attracted to them. Plus, it's not that deep, all Anthony did was want to give her a rose. He didn't exactly say he loves her! I like new relationships! I just hope there is no cheating😂

It’s kinda weird how we just don’t know where they even hid the bowstaff anyways it was nowhere to be found 💀😭

Another great episode, I like Heath/Daisys friendship and how it was always platonic. But Xander and Daisy leaving when they were so connected to the group was the wrong move especially when Olive/Nial made it to the group.

i honestly wouldn't have minded if daisy and heath got together or not, i loved them as a friendship but would not have complained if they got together at some point lol

I don't like how quickly Anthony is falling for Adele after one conversation as a couple of episodes back, Ariana complemented him and he seemed to get a little crush for a bit until she back stabbed him and then Adele complements his choreo once and he is now crushing over her. It just feels like he will fall in love with anyone once they complement him. Moreover the adele and anthony relationship has had little to no build up. Other than that I am really enjoying season 9 it might be one of my favourites.

I have just one thing to note from this series: WHERES LUCIEN AND MARIA?! We were all led to believe that Maria left town as a scheme, and she would later come back once Ultra Elite was allowed in TNS, but that doesn't rlly cover where Lucien is, and y its Grace doing everything, as if shes dance captain AND studio (which she is neither) so I just wish we didnt have that little loose thread...

The way they wrote daisy off made me SO mad and I cried for way too long 😭💀

I love this episode. Heath, Ethan, Izzy, Ariana, and Adele's solo really stood out. What is Winnie status as of now, like she was a stage manager in Step Inside but then moved on to B Troupe? I feel like they should've explained it more on Winnie. I love that Eldon explained that the twist for the solo round was to incorporate a prop which foreshadows West using a basketball in his Season 3 audition against Shannon from Elite. I agree with you, why didn't Daisy just tell Kenzie and Nick that her prop was missing and that Grace sabotage her. And also why didn't Daisy just find another prop in case she lost her Bo Staff. Eventually Ariana will have to betray Grace soon since Ariana was hesitant to follow Grace's plan. I feel like Jett should've moved on after Xander was cut from A Troupe and find another best friend. I understand that Jett misses Xander but it's not the end of the world. I love Heath and Daisy's duet to a Lost and Found song to We Are. Heath will fight for Daisy, and maybe Daisy will appear in a later episodes to cheer on Heath at International and same for Xander that maybe he will appear in later episodes to cheer on Jett at International. Izzy has really improved so far as a dancer. Izzy's prop of a blanket might be symbolize as finding their identity like they mentioned with being in Ozzy's shadow but more of finding who they are without Ozzy being there. What is Grace's motive of taking down The Next Step, I know she wants revenge after what A Troupe did to her. Maybe her motives to take down The Next Step is to get revenge of what A Troupe did to Winnie as well. I'm confused with Winnie when she demands auditions for A Troupe but Winnie didn't audition for A Troupe, was she allowed to Audition for A Troupe or no since she was a Stage Manager of Step Inside and then moved on to join B Troupe again? Kenzie will realized sooner than later that Grace was sabotaging The Next Step this whole time and she didn't noticed it, which makes Heath have to tell her anything and possibly Ariana mentioning about Grace's plan in a future episode soon that's my prediction. I love the Anthony and Adele's scene when Adele mentioned about her limb difference and shared it with Anthony. I could see Anthony and Adele as a couple or as best friends. Jonah's outfit didn't change at all. I feel like Grace's character was more evil with a little nice involved and not more on being fully evil like Maria and Lucien. I'm looking forward to seeing Adele, Olive, Niall, and Ariana throughout the episodes. The talking heads was all over the place with dance styles keep changing plus with the talking heads zooming in and out. I'm going to miss Daisy being on A Troupe. I'm curious where is the Off Season Episodes of Season 9?

One thing I’m so confused about is how heath is actually allowed on A-troupe to compete, if Richelle was classed as a professional after just doing step inside why was heath not?? If I’ve missed something can someone please let me know!!!

I don’t like how Niallmade a-troupe as he just seems to inexperienced to be going to internationals in season 3 Noah made it but he had been at the next step for way longer Ik it doesn’t reallly make sense but I just don’t think Niall should made the team Also we were Only just introduced to him like two episodes ago where as we saw Noah grow from season 1 to 3

You know I do wish there were more boy and girl friendships but if heath and daisy get together in later episodes I won’t be mad

Does anyone else get annoyed when there are zoom-ins in the talking heads? I find it really distracting! It doesn’t seem natural to me, and it shifts my attention from what the character is saying to the camera zoom.

Omg I didn't even notice the Lost and Found nod! Also ya, the Nick scene was a little weird to me too but for a different reason, it felt like they were addressing Nick's lack of presence but acting as if we've actually seen him do much in 8B and these first few episodes. It sucks we didn't see much reaction from the rest of the team, especially Izzy, but TNS is pretty notorious for not showing A troupe's reaction to people leaving half the time so I just move past it. I liked the Anthony and Adelle flirting, thought it definitely came out of nowhere, I still thought it was pretty cute. It's not like he was declaring love for her or anything, he just enjoyed talking to her, thought she was pretty, and wanted to seem charming to her and flirt, which I think is pretty normal for teens taking an interest in someone they just met. Overall, pretty decent episode.
