Ramos is a beast. Most of the great defenders in football (past & present) had/have a mean streak to their play. Sometimes its dirty play while other times its tactics.
Maldini, Ricardo Carvalho, Puyol, John terry, Lucio, Desailly, Vidic, Tony Adams, Jaap Stam, Ramos, etc all these defenders had 2 things in common. 1) being world class 2) being dirty players. To win the big trophies in football you need players like these (gladiators/ warriors). Being dirty is basically being tactical in certain situations on the pitch. To ignore that is just being naive.
These bad tackles are only a small amount compared to all the great tackles he's done that have got cheers from fans and players and in many occasions saved games. Every club in the world has bad tackles equally as bad and sometimes worse than Ramos's. I was a defender in my time and most of my bad tackles in all honesty was unintentional and in the heat of the game. YOU MUST GIVE YOUR ALL OR GO HOME

Ain Moradi He's not that great of a defender, he's an amazing leader and his goalscoring ability hides his lack of defending skill. I'd say he's not even top 10. Baresi Maldini Lucio Thiago Silva Puyol Nesta Moore Beckenbauer Hummels Cannavaro Desailly Terry Just to name a few. All are better defenders.
Ramos is a good defender but he over does it with his tackles and receives too many yellow and red cards. I laughed when Messi actually tackled him in the last Classico, lol, unlike Messi but he was getting back at him for all the bad tackles Ramos has made against him over the years.

I'm a Scottish football fan and our league is arguable the toughest in the world with tackles, but Ramos is dirty, because he goes out on purpuse to take players out. The Salah tackle was done on purpose. I also did martial arts and it was clearly done as an arm lock to take him out.

he`s a great leader with a strong mentality, but defensivly he`s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to aggressive and makes just the most stupid and unnecessary tackles in the world sometimes and thats the main reason people hate him and i cant say their wrong
Ramos would be considered one of the best defenders ever if it wouldnt be for all the dirty plays and all the red cards he has got through out his career
Even if he isn't doing it purposely, i can be super aggressive without the intention of hurting u.. but will do so 50% of the time, so I need to change my style definitely
One red card should not have been given, he could have avoided getting at least other red cards but some of those were clearly intentional. Just look at those against Messi and that against Salah.

So does every other team. Ramos is aggressive and sometimes attacks the opponents. However, in Salah's case, Salah held his arm first and it happened in a gist of second so how in hell was Ramos supposed to move it out. Watch the vid carefully. U will see.

Ramos is dirty, but let's not forget the guy is fantastic defender who makes bags of great challenges, block and scores big goals too. hell of a defender, but dirty. he bends the rules.
