Oh my gosh people. She was there in the moment. She was not there when he edited it together or when he was talking to the camera himself. Not to mention, they were both so nervous a lot of it was probably sort of surreal and hazy. So now she’s getting to see/hear everything from the point of why Shane was doing this and what they talked about. THAT’S WHAT SHES REACTING TO! CHILL THE FLIP OUT!

Why is everyone saying she’s “milking it”? He made two videos on it and wrote about her in a book, she deserves to share her thoughts too

I love the last bit of the video where you got all sad because you thought he was going to leave and got all quiet and looked down asking if he wanted to hang out before he said he wanted to hang out. It was honestly adorable.

When it comes to the matter of the heart, there’s no right or wrong. Shane loved her, so he thought she loved him the same way. She loved him (as a friend and brother), and thought he loved her the same way. They were so young back then. Anyhow, it’s beautiful that they manage to reconnect. I was in a similar situation, but I don’t think I have the courage to reconnect like they did. Good job!!

I actually came here from Shane's channel, but I don't understand all the hateful comments. I was thinking while watching Shane's video, that you seemed such a lovely, kind hearted person, and I still think you come across as a really lovely person now. Don't listen to the haters!

I love this, honestly. She seems like such a great friend and people need to understand that you CAN be friends with someone without having feelings for them.

The biggest mistake I've ever made is taking someone's love for me for granted just because I didn't love them back.

I would try and reconnect to my person like that but he passed away last year. Anyone reading this, reach out to that person don’t let it slip through your hands. Don’t say “I will tomorrow” tomorrow is never guaranteed. I wanted for “tomorrow” and he passed away.

I don't know how someone could hang out with Shane nearly as much as she did and NOT feel ANYTHING at all. He's so personable and comedic and just really sweet.

i was friends with someone..then we developed feelings for each other, i freaked, blocked the number and disappeared for 7 years. in january reconnected again. so happy and grateful that we did, we're always gonna be in each others lives now.

I don’t get all the hate? Why? Because she’s reacting to a video that she’s in? You do realize that editing can completely change the way a story is presented right? She was nervous. She’s not milking him for views, he asked her to meet up with him, he wanted her to react to the video. All the hate and negativity is so unnecessary because she seems like a genuinely sweet person. This was awkward for the both of them. I mean imagine seeing someone everyday and then not seeing them at all. Imagine then said person asking you to meet up for a video. You’d be nervous too especially if you didn’t fully know their intentions. She was guarded and anyone should be, she was nervous as anyone would be. Like if you have a problem with the videos just move on and watch a video you like. Also she’s an Aries and by nature us Aries rarely let people in, we are naturally guarded and selective of who we get close to. They both needed to close this chapter of their past so they could move on to present times. As they stated they were both young and naive and they’re different people now.

I feel like Shane's video of reconnecting with Blair has made me also reconnect with her in a way. I remember in maybe 2009 I learned how to be better at makeup from Blair in my last year of high school. for a long time I stopped watching all beauty videos, and made a new RU-vid account. and now here I am, subscribed again! 💜

His video made me realize how much I missed you too! You along with Ingrid, Dulce, Anna Saccone, and Fleur are my first RU-vidrs I watched. You are the real OG and I was obsessed with you in 2009-2012

This is so heartwarming to see you two patch things up again. You're so right. Not every friendship will last, but the people who you really click with are too valuable to lose. From what I've seen in both videos, you both had similar feelings (nervousness, confusion). It sounds like both of you were hurt to lose a friend.

The people who are being mean to her JUST BECAUSE shane was hurt over a misunderstanding of a relationship are so annoying. It's a common misconception with EVERYONE with one friend in their lives so just because Shane Dawson went through it doesn't mean that she betrayed him. Y'all are too immature to understand the complexity of a one sided relationship while the other doesn't really see them that way. They're friends again and you should be happy that Shane gained his friend back and stop being disgusting and hateful.

I used to watch your videos like 8 years ago when you had all the mac makeup a girl could want! This is so true, to reconnect with people in our lives from our past that we have lost touch with for whatever reason if you can. I was blessed to reconnect with a childhood friend that I met in 3rd grade (in the late 80s...I'm old). I had a huge crush on him all throughout high school! We graduated in 1996. I know he knew about my crush, it was so obvious, he didn't feel the same but was so cool about it. We never dated but we were good friends. A little over 6 years ago, we reconnected through Facebook and became close friends again. We had both been through difficult divorces and could really relate to each other even more later in our lives. I loved him so much, I always will. Unfortunately and devastatingly, he was killed while on a business trip in FL in 2/2016 by two monsters that robbed him at gun point and shot him for no reason. This is a man that would have given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. If you needed help, he was the one to call. I still cannot make sense of this. I don't understand why or how they could have no compassion at all for another human life and would do this. I am tearing up and shaking typing this comment, but Blair and Shane are so right to say to reconnect with the ones you care about, it's so important because life is so precious and unpredictable. I miss him everyday and think of him so often. We never were able to make it happen where he could meet my husband, he lived out of state and his family lived here where we grew up. I still live here in our hometown. I regret not making that reunion happen. Some regrets you cannot go back and fix. They would have gotten along so well. He did say a couple months before he passed away "I hope he knows how lucky he is to have you" and how happy he was to see me so happy when I got remarried. He was there for me when my dad passed in 2012, he knew my dad professionally and worked with him. He had his father come see me when I was in the hospital because he lived out of state and couldn't be there personally so he sent his father to come visit me, not many guy friends would do such a caring thing. But that is the man he was. This meant the world to me, his family is so often in my thoughts and prayers. I often want to pick up the phone and hear his voice on the other end or text with him and make jokes as we always used to do and go back and forth about the silliest stuff. He was the brother/best friend a girl dreams of. I am so grateful and blessed to have had that 5 years before he was taken from all the people who cared for him and loved him. I hope he knew how much he was loved! His memorial service was standing room only, it was breathtaking and one of the most difficult days of my life. Please reconnect with friends, you never know what can happen. I hold so many memories of him so close to my heart. I will always carry a piece of you in my heart DWH. You were the best friend a girl could ask for. I miss you so much! Love you.

I don't understand the hate comments. She sounds genuinely happy to have Shane back in her life. I'm sure most people have been in relationships where the other misconstrued the feelings of the other. If you don't talk to one another about it you run the risk of something like this happening. Be happy they're friends again.

He points out that she said relationship instead of friendship, but whether someone is family, friend or a significant other they're all called relationships. Often we want something so bad we invent signs that aren't there. I can definitely relate to both sides of this.

Wow you guys seem to have such a strong soulmate connection. I went through the same exact situation lol, everyone has a few soulmates, your mom can be your soulmate you know? Its not always a romantic thing. This made me so happy.

I am so disappointed and somehow I'm also hurt over these comments that I'm reading. After watching Shanes video and seeing how happy they both were and how it's so awesome they reconnected I thought I was going to scroll down on this video and see so many positive comments about how everyone is so happy they're friends again. But no I scroll down and see soooooo many people being so hateful and hurtful. First of all, I don't understand how she's "exploiting" Shane for views when she's watching a video that concerns the both of them and not just Shane... Second, Shane had sent her the video himself wanting her to watch it, how does her wanting to watch it with us, supposedly mean that she's only doing it for the views? Got chills watching these videos. So happy you two could reconnect, and 8 months later...I really hope you are still friends since this was made. Reminds of my teenage years too. Like Shane, I was best friends with a girl, people near me thought she liked me, pushed me to ask her out, I finally tried to talk to her about it...half hour later she is crying, I'm trying not to cry, and lost my best friend that night. We barely talked for around 6 years after that. Then we re-connected after we'd both moved several times, got more mature, and were able to look back at that time as a learning moment. We don't live close enough to be close friends again like that, but the awkwardness went away, and we were able to talk and be friends again - and that was such a great feeling. Watching you and Shane reconnect just bought ALL those memories back....but in a good way.

This gives me hope my best guy friend still cares for me. We lost connection YEARS ago, but never had a solid goodbye. I was heartbroken for years assuming I ruined the best friendship I ever had. This video comforted my loss, and hopefully I’ll be able to see him again, too! It’s devastating mourning the loss of a friend, but I’m so hopeful the friendship I have with my guy friend will be reunited one day like you and Shane. This video helped heal a sliver of a broken heart I’ve been going through. ❤️

There's so many mean comments and I don't get it at ALL. I've gone through a similar situation as Shane and Blair. If I had the chance to reconnect with her and we were able to be friends again, I would never stop posting about her and I would talk about her nonstop because that's how much I genuinely love her, even just platonically.
