Reacting To SkywardWing's "It's Time For The Kingdom Hearts REMAKE!" - The Burden Of Time! 

I mostly agree with both of you oddly enough. The comparison to ff7 doesn't work though cause the last playable title to come out was Crisis Core in '08. Thats 12 years with no ff7 games before the remakes were announced. Kingdom Hearts while having horrible wait times between games is still active. The story is still continuing. Final Fantasy 7 ended so remaking that completed story makes sense. Remaking the first game( which I also think holds up fine to this day and its funny that everyone complains that KH is too floaty now a days but KH1 is NOT floaty. Sora is very heavy feeling in this game. They may want to just play the first game again lol) is not necassary. I do like Wing's solution for folding it into the narrative so its not out of place but then its just more a remaster than a remake. I'd much prefer a whole new take on the tale than just another retread with better graphics. And I dont want to wait!(still waiting for ML😭) I'm a big fan of Skyward Wing and watched practically all his playthroughs of the series but unless they drop a brand new spinoff like Hearts of a Kingdom and go in a fresh direction AND it doesn't impact development of the main series I can live happily without it.

Oh man that bump of nsotalgia of being born in the 90's and growing up in the 2000's pencil man trying to synthesize my bones into dust. Im here for it though. That said as a ratchet and clank/splintercell fan i understand that want to for them to push the game series forwsrd tather than remakes. We really didnt need that remakemot R&C becuase that wait from A Crack in Time to Rift Apart was crazy 😂
