The Red hair at the end was to show that the main character is an Authority figure, or Aggressor now. The protagonist was always seen associated with the color blue, but now he's going back with more knowledge and a sense of purpose to expose the island and bring the operation down.

The future of the show is uncertain, not because of Netflix, but because the show's creator was basically in charge of everything and kind of got burnout. And, though he had the idea for this season for at least 13 years, he does not really have anything concrete for a second season. So, he will at least have to bring in other people to help him make a second season...and it might take a while if it does happen.

Yesterday or before yesterday, he said that if there gonna be 2nd season he wants to explore more the frontman, policeman n ddakji guy characters. We may getting prequel instead. But yeah the director need help from experienced writers if they want to do 2nd season so soon.

I can't believe how many people are mad about the ending like.... Gi-hun started off thinking only about himself, and by the end he gave up his chance to be happy to stop the games. His daughter was fine in the US, she had her family - Gi-hun's main responsibility was to make sure nobody else suffered what he did.

Basically it was the character’s sad little attempt to sound cool which flopped fantastically ‘cause of his ignorance (he didn’t know wtf Mojito or Maldives was but tried to act as if he knew, thus misusing them both in a sentence). Afterwards he asks “Was Mojito a city in Japan or China?”.

Love watching you guys reactions, but a bit surprised your not continuing to show Squid Games reactions daily as you seemed to for the first four episodes. This confirms my guess you probably finished them all in a day or two. If you're going to show the remaining five episodes weekly, like how you do The Wire and your other reactions, then by the time you finish it, the whole hype for the show will be well and truly over already!
