The title Chronosaurus was inspired by the discovery of the fossil of a dinosaur named Kronosaurus in Australia, and the concept of time being a monster hunting you down as you try to run away. The mv was directed by Kinotaku, who also directed the mvs for the Skz tracks 19 and Gone Days.

I LOVE this song so much. I think it is genius to film them sitting down throughout. There is an anxiety expressed through it. They are singing about running about rushing about but they are sitting still. The juxtaposition of them makes the tension so palpable. It feels so much like that when you have a deadline or a looming commitment. Like time is chasing you and you are standing still. The zoetrope wheel showing a horse that is always still but when you spin it, it is running. Trapped in place but frantic. I can just go on forever
Chronosaurus is one of my all-time favorite SKZ songs and one ofvmy favorites in general. Anticipating the reactions to key moments and hearing Han's kick ass rocker voice gave me chills for the 1000th time. I don't think this song gets the recognition it should.
This was fun. Chronosaurus is one of my top fave SKZ songs. Something in it just scratches the right parts of my brain to cement itself into the top 5. Three songs have never left my top 5 fave SKZ songs, and those are Voices, Chronosaurus, and Blueprint. The others fluctuate depending on my moods. But not those three. I like how they are singing about running away from time, but are sat still almost the entire video. Gives a slight feeling of dread. Along with the grainy textures. And they had some of the oldest form of media/film going behind them. The zoetrope, and the old film reels. I also liked how they would slow down & pause, almost as if time was stopping. And I like both cats and dogs.....But I just recently found out I'm allergic to dogs. So no more petting doggos from me.

One of my altime favs. One of the many special things abo stray kids is that their tracks are always so different! Every single one has such a unique sound and look. Youll never get bored in this fandom I can promise you that. Stay forever ♡
You should check out some of their album behind the scenes. It's neat seeing them - exactly as you said - know each other's voices, and self direct in the recording booth. They explain song meanings, beat inspirations, genre exploration, and it's cool seeing them prep choreo, too. I'm super excited for your Stray Kids journey!
I love Chronosaurus so much, it's always in my top 5 of SKZ songs. The vocals and visuals are all just immaculate and I love the almost sinister broodiness of it. And Lee Knows growl..*faints! Loving your reactions, keep going with our SKZ. 💜
I like that you both give some great takes and comment on things I've not even considered! A lot of SKZ songs sound like nothing I've ever heard before and Chronosaurus is one of them for sure. Can't wait for Miroh!
I. Love. This. Song. I feel like it gives an overlying feeling of suppression/oppression? With an unrelenting flow of "conventional" sound. The way they are all sitting in stasis...in a line...gives off a sense of paralysis. Stray kids have to keep hustling, and time keeps relentlessly passing..."but for what?," they ask. It's haunting, and as an aging person, this hits me hard. Tyty for this reaction, would rather hear you give commentary then get stuck trying to rate things with numbers, though. Not criticizing, I truly love your reactions! It just seems like something is lost in the constant drive to compare and quantify art, and so many reactors seem to focus on it❤
I've said it before, but I really enjoy when you both discuss the song more in depth and discuss certain elements in the beat or the vocals. You guys make me realize there are aspects to the song that I never noticed before and it makes me listen to the songs differently and make me love the song even more. Thank you for another reaction video! I really enjoy watching you (both). I don't know if someone already let you know this, but there are actually behind the scenes for their album recordings, like vlogs. I think you might find that interesting to watch/react to, to see how they operate and record things. They're 20-40 mins videos that they upload on their official Stray Kids youtube page. They have a bunch of them.

Chronosaurus is one of fan favourites though quite old (2019) There's not a choreography for this ofc its a bside which didn't got promoted on any music shows as far as I remember but I could be wrong, and still got MV (skz actually tend to have a lot more mv for their title tracks ofc and b/sides than average in kpop. As you see its quite simple, not as crazy as their recent ones. And with sound of the song - stray kids and 3racha ofc were still finding their signature sound at this point. I do like Chronosauros but more for lyrics and dark vibes than anything. Maze of memories is somewhat similar in lyrics and meaning but better in my opinion to hear (also of their older stuff) oh and yours audio is way better this time, thanks
Didn't watch till the end and rushed to comment lol. Interesting thoughts you have about music and their voices and cinematography, found something new to me. And lastly I am more a cat person but I love dogs as well.
Its still early yet, but if I may recommend that, after you get to gods menu, check out their performances for the show Kingdom, i dont want to spoil it but you should know about gods menu (and probably black pink's ddu ddu) before watching

I was so saddened that this was going to premiere while I was at work, but must say, you're doing the STAYs good work! First off - Time Dinosaur is exactly what they had in mind! This is truly one of my favorite B-Sides. Namely because of 'dark rapper' Changbin in his low register at 1:52, emotive HAN at 2:12 and the ever present, I may look cute, but I can and will kill you Lee Know at 2:42 Truly all of them shine on this track, it just bleeds into the next second or verse so seamlessly... though harmonies weaving into each other at the bridge is just *mwah* chef's kiss. Edit - once you do get to "Side Effects" would love to hear both of your guys' takes on the song! please! 2nd Edit, because I get too hyped to not comment throughout the video, I have 4 inside cats, 1 dog, and 2 outside cats and while I love them all equally, it is safe to say that I tend to lean more towards cats.. my dog is wonderful. And spoiled. But truly she's like living with a 3 year old that refuses to mature. I just find cats have more unique personalities. (Sorry Maisie, mommy still thinks you're the best girl!!)

This is in my top 10 easy, I love the haunting, darker tone of the song. They dont have any other songs that sound like this one. Chans vocals really shine in this one which we don't get too much of. All of the clocks on the wall have different meanings... one is set to their debut date while others are I believe the date of the first and last episodes of their survival show. Looking forward to Miroh!
Once again, you guys are a perfect team. I love how accurate and poignant of your observation just by listening. Of course, Chan is the track master who creates great tracks. The fact that they complement each other so perfectly like a "tapestry" as you mention is because Chan is the Founder, the Originator and leader of Stray Kids. He personally hands pick all the members to form Stray Kids. That is never happen I believe in the big Kpop companies.

I really enjoy some of the genius in their older songs. This song is one of those under-rated. The feeling about time is so relatable and thus makes this song timeless. I love the contrast of the boys feeling the urgency to run but staying seated as they sing together as a group. I have watched this many times but this is the first time I was antsy for them to be running as they sang. "Time anxiety". Ryan really seems to love distinctive voices, so I would love to recommend the group Nine.i. But the thing is... there's a boycott of them right now. So maybe not now... and you may already have a lot of recommandations too. But like all the 10 and now 9 members have really distinctive and peculiar voices which is something I really appreciate about them. I don't know if you would love their music tho since they are not that much rap and are really happy concept (with sad lyrics but the songs generally gives happy vibes)
@MCDofWCR 8 out of 9 members are in a legal dispute with their agency. We don't know why but we guess it's because of management since for the past almost year they have been promoting in Japan for nothing since it's always the same person going and the members are tired (1 member left in January after an 8 months hiatus, and there were 2 other members that were on hiatus). So to be sure to not give any money to the agency while we are unsure the fandom decided to boycott. But when we'll know everything and that the members are okay, I hope you'll be able to check them out ! Especially since they are also self produced, all of their songs are by Vahn beside one but he also writes and produces for other groups !
