REACTING TO THE 2024 COMBO CONTEST (SPOILER - I POGGED!) 

I think it's only smash 64 as a matter of tradition and also because comboing is slightly more skill based in that game with more limited movesets and lack of c stick. Plus there's more hitstun in 64 so a lot of these are just naturally true combos.

Would be harder cause of less hitstun and no Z-canceling but doable, melee has things that smash 64 doesn't. I would love to see it.

A lot more harder with 64 having more hitstun than melee and z/l-cancelling is broken in 64 and gets rid of all lag but in melee only half.

​@@queuedjar4578Its not that its more skill based, its just that the comboes are many times completely unescapable therefore they form a bigger part in the meta game

@@Tpabisasnoozefest Melee also has fast fall arials and faster falling speed to help it's combo game plus more items and characters.

Infinite most likely.

Depends on how long the person wants to work on the tas and do different stuff. Theoretically there's boring infinites a tas could do

You can infinite with single hit Fox upairs without TAS

not that im aware of, but idk how well it would work on melee
