Hi Megan. This show is a homage to British horror films of the 60's, and 70's from UK film companies such as HAMMER, AMICUS, TIGON and TYBURN. All the actors in this, all used to watch those classic horror films, and are still fans to this day. This show is a homage, in comedy format, to those films. This programme started initially on radio, then later transferred to television. There is also a feature film of "The League Of Gentleman." Also, Roy Chubby Brown is also "The Mayor" of the town in this, Royston Vasey. Roston Vasey is also Roy Chubby Brown's real name. X

It is possible that Little Britain’s FatFighters sketch was based on The League of Gentlemen’s jobseekers sketch, but a lot of comedians/writers have similar ideas. This and Alan Partridge are 2 of my favourite comedies of all time, I’m glad they translate well and more people outside the UK are starting to appreciate them aswell. These 3 actors are incredibly talented. I remember when we’d finished watching something else, we clicked off it and this was on the TV. I was cackling like an absolute lunatic at the TV, we went looking for it immediately afterwards lol. Yeah Little Britain was like a more watered down version of this, this is way better

Megan,getting the band back together, rather sad?,i know its a comedy i love the classic humour funny one minute sad the next,creme brulee brilliant name for a band,poor lad gets sucked in to part with his money,the butchers meat,makes your nose bleed,hello dave will give you nightmares, most of these characters are based upon real people they have met,you may have to do another apology next time,I'm lead to believe there's four guys involved in this show,one who's behind the camera but actually does have acting part's you'd have to Google him,this was a hit on the radio first...
