@@magenta9105 Instant Double Jump. He buffered his double jump to happen as soon as possible after leaving the ground, which gave him enough height to do up air just before hitting the ground.

"Tech" in the context most used in this video is when you press shield right when hitting the ground or a wall so your character does not bounce off the wall or lie on the ground. Especially on the ground is important in these combos, because you cannot be jablocked if your character isn't lying down

A tech can happen when you bounce off the floor or wall of a stage after someone hits you. Normally when this happens, you just bounce off the floor or wall, but if you “tech” the bounce, which you do by hitting the trigger buttons at a certain time while hitting the floor/wall, you will not bounce, but instead either stay in place if you tech the wall, or jump up if you tech the floor. Teching the floor gives you more invincibility and helps escape combos, while wall teching helps you to not bounce off the stage far into the blastzone and instead stay close to the stage.
