If you want to listen to his album that has so many transitions and is so easy to listen to as a full album it’s Dawn FM… if you want to start his discography start with house of balloons, each album tells the story of his stage in his life and he makes so many connections between albums and it makes you appreciate his albums so much more… love the video and channel ❤🔥 keep it up
Dawn fm has some fire transitions best friends to is there someone else to starry eyes. And then on echos of silence from outside to initiation 4 songs all transitions into each other.
Dawn FM had insane transitions! Personally the transitions in his Kissland album were also absolutely banging, they may have not been as common as Dawn FM but Adaptation through to Belong to the World were awesome, well worth a react!

AH was released March 2020, Dawn in January 2022, so I’m really hoping we’re keeping up with the beginning of the year every two years trend. And he’s been dropping little hints and teases for like the last month. I’m so excited to go down the rabbit hole with you!!

And After Hours first single Heartless dropped 4 months before the album and Dawn FM's first single Take My Breath dropped around 5 months before the album. So I think the first single will drop sometime in March now and the album will drop around 4 months later, that would be around July/summer time. Just my thoughts and theories tho :D

I think he’s going to go into more visual arts too. He’s a HUGE film fan. The videos for Heartless and Blinding Lights were inspired by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. His show The Idol was met with…mixed reviews…lol I loved it and the music we got out of it was INCREDIBLE. He’s also starring in a movie with Jenna Ortega sometime soon. I’m here for all of it, I just hope we keep getting music.

You gotta react to some music videos of this album! They're all connected so its kinda like watching a movie when ur watchin em in order, hes definetly a great actor! Id suggest the heartless vid since metro is in it- or the after hours short film because hes just amazingly acting in it :) Also please react to more of his projects, they all are different and have their own unique sound.

Great reaction. I hope you cover his entire discography - I think you’ll really enjoy it. His early stuff like Trilogy and Kiss Land are quite different (much darker), but they’re the XO fan favorites. DFM is the sequel to AH so I recommend you do that one next, but then start at the beginning with HoB.
And yes his earlier work (trilogy) is darker and heavy on drug and sex influence so the song faith kind of hints of him losing his faith and going back to that stuff.
the bonus songs were meant to originally be part of the album but he didn't finish them in time so decided to remove them and finished them for the deluxe

Almost every weeknd album has no bad songs, starboy was my first weeknd album and it’s only 2nd to after hours, after hours is an album you have to listen to from start to finish

I honestly cant understand the people who think Blinding Lights sounds like Take On Me by A-ha. Like, to me, honestly, it doesn't sound very similar at all. And i usually have a very easy time of hearing similarities in songs.

i feel like if you enjoyed this, you'll also enjoy tory lanez's 'alone at prom deluxe' album. it's a soul r&b album but with the 70s vibe (very spacey). it has some of the best tory singing performances.
