She was perfectly clear in the video. She analyzed very technically and said it was what her thinks. Her opinion. So don't need to use coach in "". She is a vocal coach with knowledge enough to analyze someone's vocals. I'm so triggered about how much hate y'all are spreading. I came into this video getting ready to get mad to this woman, but I only got mad with the fans and this channel. You guys are taking someone's opinion waaay to seriously.

@@yurialencar143We take it seriously because she is a professional and we assume she know what is talking about, but is no being objective and don't even know how make a critique, I honestly don't care if she say that they don't have a good technique but the way she said was mean. The only thing that I got is that she has no clue what she is talking about, all the voices are different, there are different vibrato, tones, and vocal styles like the breathy voice that is used to give a nuance to the voice, or the vocal powers such as pianissimo, piano or fortissimo that allow the song not to be sung in the same tone and adds dynamism to it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

And can you imagine if the whole group sounded like Perrie??? Who’d want to listen to that? The whole point of a group is to put diverse voices together to form a beautiful sound. Jesy has a beautiful voice and so do all the other girls. I hate when people who prefer “traditional” voices put down others. You can prefer Perrie, that’s fine. But to put down the other girls because you don’t prefer their voices is nasty and not a trait I would want in a vocal coach. Her job is to help people improve, not tell them they sound bad and then try to make them sound like everyone else. Completely disgusting.

Yes I agree with you wholeheartedly. Just based on how she herself was singing jesy’s voice and then said she doesn’t have a professional sounding voice and that “she was singing out of her octave” shows her support for one form of a voice over others and even on broadway, there is different vocal sounds that to her may not be professional but for the part is perfect. Or perfect in the director’s eyes.

This is it. She obviously only likes a specific type of voice, and only Perrie fits that mold. And I’m not putting Perrie down, she is my fave and I absolutely adore her, but the truth is that there is a lot of Perries out there in terms of classic/traditional voices but most of them lack her power, charisma and emotive singing (something this vocal coach seems to lack as well). People want more than just a “good” voice and technique - that’s just boring in the long run. This is exactly why someone like Jesy is so goddamn important - she’s got one of the most unique and fascinating voices I’ve ever heard.

Exactly, from a technical point of view.. Mixed Belts are more healthy for Jesy, pure belts would tear down her vocals chords since her vibrato is so strong and fast.. but hey I'm not a "Vocals Coach" so she clearly knows better. ;)

It pisses me off when people single Perrie out for her high notes. Like yeah it's impressive, but I think it's also impressive when Jesy can growl out her lyrics, when Leigh-Anne hits high notes as well as her sassiness and when jade shows her confidence through her voice. Like all of the girls are unique and that's what makes them amazing. They're not carbon copies of eachother

Not to mention, the one she did actually win was when she was on a team of writers for a TV series. So technically she’s a (shared) Emmy winning writer not a singer and it wasn’t off of just her works ;)

She doesn’t pay attention to those things called ‘Stylistic choices’. If she had her way, literally everyone would sound the same.

Exactly! The different voices and vocal techniques are what makes the song so emotional and so unique sounding. If everyone sang the way she wanted every song would be the same basic thing that we've already heard 100 times. Jesy isn't singing "incorrectly". She has unique voice and tries different things with it, which makes her singing style interesting and beautiful!
