IF he was trying to get her to enjoy the game then he could backseat the controls. I think he wanted to see someone develop their 'gaming chops' from scratch as it were.

My first experience with games was Halo CE on highest difficulty on my cousins family PC. The two of us spent hundreds of hours passing the controls back and forth after each death trying to clear it. Looking back there's no way i would have the patience for that if it was by myself. Games are always more fun with other people

My first ever game was Zelda Ocarina of time and I constantly remember me struggling with almost everything except walking even though I had the time of my life playing. This was a very enjoyable and interesting vid

Some games are smart in this matter. They ask you at first what types of tutorials do you want. You choose like "I'm familiar with this type of game, but never played this one before" or "I am completely clueless".

@@Proftrof I think something like Stellaris does. Can't remember for sure, but there's a tutorial mode that's called something like "I haven't played Stellaris, but familiar with strategy games". Probably Civilization too, there's an option for if you're familiar with Civ series and just want info about the new one.

I think the first I played I ever played was Street Fighter II: Turbo on the Super Nintendo (its basically a port of SF2: Hyper Fighting) because my parents got a Super Nintendo and some games from a garage sale. Though I think the first game I got me really into games was Halo: Combat Evolved on XBOX (the really old one with the heavy and awkward looking controllers lol).

No clue what my first game was, but probably Zelda, Mario or Pokémon. Mightve been Mario Sunshine because I have a weird attachment to that game I can't explain. I'll insult my favorite games constantly, but insult Mario Sunshine and I'll fight you. I'll fight myself if I insult it. I'll fight my dog if he insults it. And, I love Ame, but watching her play it killed me.

I grew up playing on my mom's atari and my ps1. I mostly remember playing an old Spongebob game on the ps1, dig dug, Spyro, and I also had a Gameboy color where I played Legend of Zelda and Pokemon Crystal.

My first game was probably Rampage in the 80s. It was an old DOS game about giant gorillas climbing buildings and throwing exploding bananas.

Funny story: on my ps2 (which I got with 12) I had a demo disc with a few game demos on it. 1 was for a sly cooper game and very early on there is a section where you needed to press the right analog stick to aim with a crossbow to put guards to sleep. I had no idea what r3 was and I had no games that used that button for something important. So I randomly pressed buttons and noticed it worked when I randomly moved the analog stick with a lot of force and assumed I needed to flick it with force. So I tried flicking for so long until the stick snapped off.

I'm not sure which one I played first, but my first video games were Pokemon Red and Super Mario Bros DX for the Gameboy......unless you count some arcade game I might have played. Seeing some random older kid playing Pokemon Blue at a baseball game was what I count as the root of everything. Definitely had to learn everything through trial or the manual, since my parents had no experience.

i do actually remember the first game i played and got me into games, it was the first sonic on the sega mega drive, the game wa dificult af tho, i think i never managed to complete it. a few years later i would own my own PS1 with final fantasy 8 and that would nail my love for games and RPGs specially

My first game was streets of rage , i remember it pretty clearly , my uncle is 4 years older than me so grandpa gifted him a sega , i remember he picked the dwarf blue dude and i the red chick , and then proceded to play over and over for the whole day. That day we got scolded because it was 4am and we still playing in the freezing cold winter , also there was school the next day.

my first game was probably starcraft brood war or warcraft 3. cant remember which but it was one of them. my big brother used to always play starcraft, diablo 2 and warcraft 3 and i would sit next to him watching him play in awe. my first multiplayer game was the arcade game house of the dead but on pc. maybe it was an emulator or something he got from a friend who got from a friend from the great oceans probably. i would use the keyboard controls cuz i was player two. only player one got the privilege of using the mouse and aim with high precision.

I've played games before, ngl. but the thought of playing minecraft (or any computer games) never crossed my mind. until in my 30s. cause of vtubers LMAO. i ended up liking the game. I've never think about wanting a good spec computer as long as i can do office in it before, my current laptop is 9 years old entry level one and it struggles playing the latest minecraft but still able to do 30ish fps. so its playable. now i want the big guns lol. if anything, i found a new desire to play games and it introduced me to chaps 10-15 years younger as new friends. its a good experience fortunately.

My first game? Gee, i had handheld Tetris thing (9999 in 1 games lol) and also shitty electronic handheld thing with characters from old Russian cartoon called "Ну погоди", but those really don't count. I guess my first "proper" game was Exolon on ZX Spectrum, it was a platformer with a cosmonaut shooting shit up on some planet for whatever reason. Looked up screenshots from this game now... it's so bad, but i wasn't remembering it that way. I loved it so bad, i didn't mind loading it up from a cassette tape for 5 minutes (many times failing when somebody turns the light on in another room or a fridge starts working, lol)

I never played on controller before. A few months ago, my older brother who is skilled with the controller offered me to play fifa 17. After a few games I leaned the basics of the controller. I beat him a few times and he broke his own controller. Funny as fuck

I think the first game I ever played was Pushy in elementary school on a school pc. The first game that got me into gaming? Hmm I don´t think there was one specific one, but the big three that definitely paved the road where Crash Bash, Spyro the Dragon and Tomb Raider. Some other games that I really played a lot were Kula World, Spider-Man (PS1) and Moto Racer.

I’m not really experienced with games especially fighting and action ones. Every time I tried to play a first person mecha game I just run away from others, because I suck at the mechanics. Sometimes I won with running away too, so yeah.

The first game I ever played was contra perhaps then mario the classic one, but on pc my first game was roadrash perhaps then project IGI then cs1.6 if I'm remembering correctly

was it the fake "sega" with NES chip inside that took yellow cartridges? I think different countries had very similar NES clones that took the same cartridges but had different external body.

@@DudokX I'm from Romania, I believe most of the poorer countries in Europe had the Terminator 2 as the most popular NES clone. It was vastly more popular than even the original.

To be fair to her, I totally looted bones and shit from the oblivion starting cell when I first played it in 2006 because before that, I haven't really played games where you could pick up useless stuff. Also totally understand mouse look problems because I had those too when we first got our PC in 2002. Before that we had old 486 and uofficial NES clone that only had controllers or dos fps that could be played with a keyboard.

I think the problem with Razbutens wife here is that she was overthinking shit, Like he said, he didn't run good or a specific test experiment but only watched his wife play video games, wich isn't really how one test a hypothesis. She handed herself overly well but come on bruh, not following a marker is just kinda yikes considering even a normie would know that a marker means be it because they know what a compass or GPS is, or just with the money bags thing, she totally ignored visual indicators. These little obstacles arent really something that is huge or meaningful like with moving your mouse in first person, its just something all of us had to experience and we got it really quickly. But yea its a good video.

I think the first game that I play was the original Super Mario Bros., My family was really poor when I was growing up, so I didn't have many games and the ones that I got were all form older generations but thanks to that I became a fan of retro games and Nintendo in general.

I can't remember the first game I play but it most likely is ps1 games. But the game that make me realize I love video game is shadow of the colossus and Okami. I struggle for a month until I beat Okami in Japanese version, I was 8. I can't even read english properly let alone japanese. And then shadow of the colossus I stuck at the last boss, my brother said nah no way you can beat that shit and then I fucking beat it. That why these 2 game is one of my top favorite game of all time
