Day 1 is such a random show to be so consequential, it was just a B show a few weeks before the Royal Rumble and yet it's completely changed the entire past two years of programming.

What If Aloisia wasn't fired from WWE and replaced by Kaitlyn? How far would she have gotten pre Divas Revolution and would she have won the NXT game show? What If Alundra Blayze didn't leave the WWF in 1995? I imagine a feud with Chyna over the Women's Championship (and maybe Intercontinental Championship). I also think with her in WWE around the same time as Trish Stratus, Lita, Jacqueline, Victoria, Molly Holly, and Jazz that Vince McMahon might never have started the Divas Era. What If there were no horsewomen in WWE for the past decade? I like to think Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross, and Ember Moon would have gotten a bigger spotlight on them in the late 2010s but what about the mid 2010s after Paige gets called up to the main roster and before Asuka debuts? What If Ronda Rousey joined Impact Wrestling in 2018 instead of WWE? Obviously she would have been Knockouts Women's Champion and Shayna Baszler would have most likely gotten a bigger push throughout her career, but after Ronda Rousey drops the title, if she chose to return to Impact it like she did WWE in 2022, then what? Also in 2018-2019 Tessa Blanchard was on the rise, what would happen to her if Ronda Rousey had gotten that push instead? What If Tessa Blanchard joined WWE in 2014 instead of the indies? She most likely would have been a bigger star and had multiple matches with the 4 Horsewomen but what would her career include? Would she be a grand slam champion? Would she have been called up during the Women's Revolution? How long would she be in WWE?

What If Batista stayed in WWE from 2010-2014? I can imagine Batista, Randy Orton, and John Cena being the top stars but with only two world titles, what is the third man going to do if he's not in the title picture? What If Cody Rhodes stayed in AEW? Could he have stopped the brawl after the All Out media scrum? Could he have convinced The Elite & CM Punk to get along? What If Edge didn't have an affair with Lita? Does he still become the Rated R Superstar or does Matt Hardy get pushed instead? Also do you see Edge/Adam Copeland going to TNA with Christian Cage? What If Stone Cold and The Rock switched places for the majority of their careers in the Attitude Era. For example, Bret Hart vs. The Rock WrestleMania 13, Mankind vs. Stone Cold, and most importantly the ending of WrestleMania X7. What If The Rock joined WCW in 1996. Credit goes to Dave Knows Wrestling for this one, he did a video on how WCW could have won the Monday Night Wars and said if Dwayne Johnson joined WCW as a member of the NWO, they might have had a chance at beating the WWF, do you agree?

Here is my favorite what if. What if Rhonda Sing was brought over from Japan, in 1995, as Monster Ripper and not turned into Bertha Faye?

What if Shawn Michaels never got hurt in the match with the Undertaker and had to take couple years of? Is he still alive? Do we get the later resurgence of shawn and taker?

Thank you for this, I've been saying how much early 2022 fucked up WWE's booking (to this day) for ages. The main issue being that Cody could have already finished his story against Rollins at 'Mania 39 and WWE wouldn't have needed to introduce a secondary title that is only recently starting to feel main-event worthy.

The big “what if..?” for Bryan is: what if Punk doesn’t leave? Would the Yes Movement have ever gained the traction that it did to force the change in Mania plans?

The thing is even though Roman caught with Covid, you could have still kept the two belts separate. Brock wins the WWE title at Day 1, loses it to Bobby Lashley at the Rumble because of Roman and Heyman, Seth Rollins wins the chamber, Brock vs Roman for the Universal title and Seth Rollins vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE title.

SuperKickStudios did a great video on this subject, it definitely makes you wonder where WWE would be right now if the original Day 1 Plans happened back then. The titles likely are separated, no unification. Roman isn't on a 1000+ day reign so there would be no reason for WWE to keep the title on him. It's kind of crazy how him testing positive for Covid altered WWE into the current timeline we have.

What If Shane McMahon’s lock box angle was really a shoot that contained all the VKM scandals that’s happening now?

What if Steve Austin (frustrated with his treatment) jumped ship from WWE to TNA ? Would it have changed the current landscape if they acquired the attitude eras biggest star ? What could be some possible dream feuds ? Would he have retired merely a year later or would it tarnish his HOF career ?

meltzer confirmed seth was winning the 4way and defending against the winner of the rumble at mania, brock was winning the uv and losing it back to roman at mania, the unification was heyman idea roman didnt want it at first so he convince brock to push it with vince, convincing vince also lead to the goldberg match at saudi since roman was out of the chamber, cody original opponent was owens but since seth took the cody match owens got the stone cold match, safe to say the biggest what if of the past 5 years

Mustafa Ali was heavily under utilized after the injury that led to Kofi-mania. What if Ali didn’t get hurt?

What if Brodie was still alive today? Would he have been a former AEW World Champion by 2024? When would he win it? Personally, the right time I feel like it would be around the Hangman’s reign of Punk’s reign since Punk was injured Andi instead of Mox as Interim Champ it would be Brodie and I wouldn’t surprised if he would be a locker room leader for AEW or even Tony with booking.

I personally was hoping for a two man power trip with Brock and Roman. With Heyman eventually siding with Roman after they have a tag match against the Usos for there titles. Brock can drop the title to Big E at mania (if he was healthy) or even Drew. As long as we still get the last man standing match at summer slam I’m okay with it😊

Honestly, If Day 1 plans happened… I think we wouldn’t have needed to merge the Universal Championship and Worlds title….

I always think of this as the way I turn heel, because I realise I can't really be considered anything else after I make this opinion known: I detest pizza. Hate it. No other food makes me feel as physically ill as quickly after eating it. There is always the expectation at social/family gatherings that "well, everyone eats pizza so let's just order a bunch of them", and then they try to pawn them off on you when a majority of them don't get eaten. I know Steve suggested that what if? as a joke, but it's a scenario I wouldn't mind exploring hehe 😅

Also not sure how much Day 1 would’ve changed. Cody was definitely leaving AEW but hadn’t signed with WWE yet and it seems like they really wanted a unification Lesnar/Reigns. If anything Big E may have held on to the title a little longer to lose it in the EC to Brock

I read months ago that after Roman Reigns drops the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, it will just be the WWE Championship. After that his opponents started to refer to it as the WWE Championship as well, so they might be easing the viewers into the name change.
