I can see that "it feels like in a middle of a season or season 2" vibe. The way I kind of interpret it as, Yuri just finished a season of ice skating. So it is like the wrap up of that season and then a brand new one is on the horizon for the sport itself.

When you said "This is the guy you just hate throughout the whole thing" I couldn't help but laugh at myself, because Yuri Plisetsky is the sole reason I continued to watch this anime xD He does worm his way into your heart eventually (at least I can say, he managed to in mine)

you're right peachy! they r=did their research not only because they wanted to get everything right, but because the team behind yuri on ice are HUGE figure skating fans! there was so much love poured into this anime and yo can really tell!

This show is SO well made and realistic in the worldly sense, apart from the amazing skating animation too. My absolute favourite, and I believe you'll be having a great time watching this gem.

@@AuroraPeachy you must to know that if you not watch the episode from the dvds or blur ray you will MISS the redrawn version! Yes this tv series was redrawn in many many scenes! (And it’s better!) if you watch that from Crunchyroll you will have the 1st version, and it’s too bad!
