Aww bless you haha....It was a magical time, people were kinder, music was fantastic no matter the genre and talent was fierce and real...at least you an watch it now and be on the journey with us all. Lovely that you are here Haha. Have a great week - Psyche 🙋🏽♀️✨🌹
The video was groundbreaking when it came out in the mid 80's, and it got a ton of airplay on a young MTV. It's obviously still popular as it has over 1.4 Billion RU-vid views. It was directed by Steve Barron and won 6 times and was nominated 2 additional times at the '86 MTV VMA's
No hate to Americans, but after hearing so many reaction in American dialect, it is so refreshing to hear a British person. And what a great reaction too. You don't interupt the song like many others do, and your perspective is on point. Subdscribed.
Big smile! I typically hate videos because they take away from the music ... but I LOVE this one. I'm always teared up at the end. How they packed the emotional punch into three minutes is a testament to the director. Wasn't that sweet as heck!!!?!!!! :)
Hello Christopher, thank you for your great comments. I'm opposite to you, I love music accompanied by video/moving images - people tend to want that on YT and the figures indicate that. I guess having worked in media and on film and in studios moving images is something I adore. This video is extraordinary to say the least! And yes, it was as sweet as heck! Have a marvellous Wednesday. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🌹
Thanks for your reaction to a-ha. I guess you know more of their songs, but just in case you have misses this: Another great song and video from them is «Hunting High and Low». ⭐️⭐️

Just beautiful. Took me in a blink of an eye to better time's. You have to check the live mtv unplugged version - very emotional. Have a lovely day dear psyche, or should I say... the new Venus - from the Roman mythology. ( The story about psyche and Cupid ).♥️
Hello dear Yuval - thank you for your lovely comments - much appreciated. Yes I've seen the MTV show - it is very good. As for my name, Psyche was a Greek Goddess (boy I am trying to work at it, but it still has not manifested itself yet - oh darn 😂🤦🏽♀️ - it was my late father who named me......and I'm still waiting to see if Cupid appears......I think I'll be 80 before that happens! Yes Cupid (Eros) my Roman lover/husband......if only dreams came true! Thanks for the smile.❤️✨

May you heart will smile all the time. 💕
Just passing by on RU-vid, been a while I hadn't listened to A-HA so I thought I'd watch it with you. Hope everyting is fine on your side of thing, life pretty busy here but not complaining, it means being alive 🙂 Take care my dear Psyche 🥰
Hello my dear M - so good to see you. As lockdown is now over, people are getting back to their lives so it's understandable that fewer people will check in regularly, but that's ok, that's to be expected. Thank you for stopping by and watching A-Ha with me - it's such a beautiful video and magnificent song, especially when it came out. Let me know how things are your end, as this Chanel is like a family to me, and I do care to know how people are in their own lives, the music is just a gateway to meeting some very good like-minded people. Hear from you when you're able and you are never forgotten - never! Because of you, you gave me the confidence to look into the specs of my videos, as with my older head I find it difficult as I am not a tech person - and to go forth and teach myself yet another thing to enhance my work - I will ALWAYS be grateful to you for that, because you were kind, supportive, gentle and encouraging. Have a productive safe, healthy and happy Wednesday and rest of week, and see you again soon. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️✨🌹x
@@psycheinc-theSLC Oh life is fine these days, looking after my daughter and grand daughter (it's incredible how this make me sounds old 🤣), and as one would say "so far so good". As for advising you on technical side of things, that is the least I could do considering how much I like what you do. I'll always be around, more or less frequently, and will be happy to share these moments with you and the other supporters of yours. I wish you a wonderful weekend. Take care ❤
Psique 🙋🏽♀️🌹✨
Not so…you obviously don’t know anything about their other even better songs. Take on Me is certainly their best known song and biggest hit, but not their best song by any means…The Sun Always Shines on TV is just one that’s much better for instance, but there are scores of other great songs too in their 38 year catalogue.
@@jjflash1645 Unfortunately, their music was not promoted properly in the USA by their label, Warner Music who looked upon them as a trio of pretty pin-up boys for the teenage market and wanted them to move to USA. The band wanted to be treated as serious musicians who wrote and performed their own compositions and stay in London or Europe which was closer to their families in Norway. They felt they could tour the world doing live concerts, which is what they did and still do, with a big international fan base, especially in Europe and South America. They’ve got a big back catalogue of music on 11 studio albums & 2 live albums, the last one True North only released last year. They have sold over 100 million records, did a James Bond Theme (The Living Daylights in 1988), have 2 Guinness World records 1 - for the largest paying audience at a concert (Rock in Rio 1991), and 2 - for the longest held note in a pop song by vocalist Morten Harket (20.2 secs in Summer Moved On in 2000). I seriously suggest you look into their music on RU-vid where you’ll find scores of live performances over the years as well as all their albums, hit singles and other output. I think you will be very surprised and delighted…
Realmente es un emblema de los 80´, me encanto tu voz. Acá les paso una con sintetizadores Korg Volca: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-efFopzFYGeM.html
