나름대로 해석해보자면 이 곡은 메인 화자(악뮤)가 어린아이들에게 말하는 노래이고, 곡의 제목이자 뮤비의 배경인 전쟁터는 공부를 더 잘 하기 위한 경쟁사회다. 뮤비를 보면 아이들이 나오고, 1등과 2등 깃발이 나오고 시험지가 날아다니고, 아무도 원치 않지만 서로에게 총을 겨눈다. 피가 나는 줄도 모르고 걸음을 재촉하는 당신과 숨이 최는 줄도 모르고 헐레벌떡 산 위를 오르는 당신~ 이 부분은 악뮤보다 먼저 세상을 살아본 사람들에게 어떻게 이런 세상을 살아왔는가 질문을 던지고 있다. 내 어깨 위로 팔을 감으라는 화자 (이선희)는 악뮤보다 먼저 세상을 겪어 본 완전 어른이 아이들한테 해주는 말... 아이들을 이런 전쟁터에 있게한 것에 대한 죄책감과 함께 그들을 돕고자하는 마음이 동시에 드러난다. 흙먼지투성이로 덮이기 전엔 어떤 사람이었나요 하고 묻는 대목에선 세상의 풍파에 자신의 모습이 가려진 사람에게 그의 본래 모습을 묻는다. 그때 하늘은 파란색, 바닷가는 해수욕, 마스크를 쓰지 않는 게 당연했던 세상은 메인 화자랑 어른 화자가 자신들이 겪어봤던 세상, 우리 어릴 땐 그래도 요즘보단 자유롭게 뛰놀고, 미세먼지도, 코로나도 없었으니까 아이들에게 예전 엔 이런 세상이었다고 말해주고 회상하며 말해주는데.. 이때 나오는 배경은 천장과 바닥이 뒤집어진 방. 아이들한테 눈을 감고 조금만 버티라고, 나한테 기대라고는 말하지만 사실 이명이 끝나도 비명이 들리는 전쟁터에 서는 벗어나기 어렵다는 현실을 태연하게, 어쩌면 슬프게 말하고 있다. 이 노래에서 가장 인상 깊은 가사는 "조금만 참아 이명이 끝나면 비명이 들릴테니까" 폭발이 지나가도 상처가 남는다는 슬픈 현실이 담긴 그런 가사라 인상 깊었 다. 심지어 참으라 한 뒤에 괜찮아 진다는 말이 아니라 이게 지나가면 비명이 남는다는 말을 건네서 더욱 인상깊었다 그리고 마지막에 천장과 바닥이 뒤집어진 방에 있는 수현이 나와서 전쟁터에서 1등을 죽이고 살아남은 어린 아이 (뮤비 주인공)에게 무언가를 건네는데, 그건 교복이었다. 무언가 건네는 모습에 약간의 희망을 품었지만.... 초등학생 정도로 보이는 아이, 친구들을 총으로 쏘는 전쟁터같은 경쟁사회에서 살아남은 아이에게 건네는 게 교복이라니ᅲ 초등학생 그 어릴 때부터 친구들과 경쟁하며 살아남은 아이에게 또다시 경쟁 사회로 보내는 느낌이 들었다. 그래서 교복을 건넨 뒤에 머뭇거리는 손까지 화면에 담아낸 게 아닐까... 사실 눈을 감으라는 것도 괜찮다며 아이를 도닥여주는 말이 아니라 어차피 벗어나기 어려우니 그냥 눈을 감 고 모른척 살라는 말이 아니었을까 그리고 다시 전쟁터로 나가는 아이

이선희가 노래하는부분이 기성세대들의 반성같이 들려서 인상적이었음 뮤비가 어딘가 U2느낌도 나고 암튼 근래 K팝씬에선 보기 드문 사회고발적인 음악인듯

경쟁만을 요구하는 사회를 전쟁터로 묘사해서 그 속에서 상처받는 아이들을 표현한것 같습니다.

당황해서 사투리톤이..ㅋㅋ 음..독특한 노래네요. 아이들의 과도한 학업, 스퍽쌓기를 전쟁, 전쟁터로 비유한 노래가 아닐까 싶네요.

Sera you have such a great and powerful voice, why aren't you doing vids where you sing? I know Kpop is a tough business, but maybe do some other style songs maybe Rock, R&B or Metal. You would be perfect singing Symphonic or Power Metal.

I thought at first it was about actual battlefield and kids…like what’s happening here in my country Palestine and gaza…. But I don’t think it’s talking about that since it’s not rlly happening now in the region…or it’s not happening alot in the world right now…so why would they talk about that I’m sure it’s a metaphor or something like the comments point it out Still i felt moved bcuz it’s rlly speak to the situation
