I don't understand why people think Alice in Borderland is like Squid Game. They're completely different.

Japanese Squid Game??? Are you serious? If you are familiar enough with Japanese mangas/anines, you clearly know Japanese is the birthplace of survival games genre. Having Korea made Squid Game based on this kind of genre and saying Alice in Borderland is Japanese Squid Game is an insult! Im not japanese but I love japanese mangas. I dont even watch many of their animes but I feel offended for Japan hearing Korea actually gets the credit for their Squid Game, which was clearly made based of a very popular Japanese genre.

Squid Game just became popular because of the over hyped kdramas and kpop culture plus netflix adds to that hype. If this was also a korean series then the korean culture fanatics will swarm on this.

AiB is a masterpiece that needs more recognition, I’ve watched Squid Game and it was good but to AiB it shames in comparison plot and games wise. My mind was blown away with every game and solutions.

Honestly I don't like how people compare this show to Squid Game. First Alice was shown before Squid Game and they aren't even similar.

At the very beginning of the show, they show you what Arisu is into and you see car magazines, books on Euclidian and fractal geometry. That's how he figured out the building, plus he has a photographic memory
