I've read your comment with an interest. I don't cry when listen Ms Flute as I call Angelina for the airy sound she is able to produce (like in Bohemian Rapsody). I don't believe a 15-yo girl has an experience and emotions to share with me. Probably she trusts in a game she plays. But I try not to buy fake values. Angie is young naive and unexperienced and she is under an everyday pressure of a fame. Which is explainable but not healthy for a young person.

Don't feel sad that she brought tears to your eyes. It just means she succeeded in making you FEEL the meaning of the song. I've listened to Adele's version, and it is excellent. I've listened to Bruno's version, and it is very good. But neither version made me cry. I've listened to Angelina's version more than 100 times, and she makes me cry every time. She just has the "IT" factor; she can make a rock weep. For me, this is Angelina's best performance. Glad to see you reacting to Angelina again. 💕💕

frank phillips I cannot understand why this very song alone has not brought more attention to Angelina. Heidi Klum seems to be the only major celebrity to give a dam about Angelina. Taylor Swift ignores her, and fawns over Olivia Rodrigo, even bought her a expensive present for her success with "Drivers License" Angelina is being ignored by the masses. Only us U Tube junkies know about her, and care about her.

Taylor Swift would prefer to keep Angelina unknown, because Taylor only has a average , or perhaps decent voice, and she was in the "Right place, at the right time" so to speak, while Angelina has a voice that is one in a million, and it is one of the most recognizable on the planet. Teens loved her singing on AGT Champions, then she disappeared due to covid19. It is a given that Taylor is jealous of Angelina, because they both are signed with Republic Records, and Taylor never "welcomed her aboard," just ignored her... I too recommend 7th Heaven, an original, and Heal the World. Keep the Kleenex close. Her 3 wonderful performances on AGT were "taped" in the fall of 2019 when she was 13. Now, at 15, and signed with Republic Records as their "highest priority new artist," she has access to voice coaches and professional studios. Interestingly, the piano player in her last 3 recordings, is Rob Christie, Director of Republic Records L.A. Studio, and they are in his home studio. I think she's made a friend! Her production team is still Stargate (think Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, Beyonce, Selena, Celine Dion, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith, and on and on.) Recently, in an interview, one of Stargate's co-producers said that there were only three artists who only needed just one take; Beyonce, Sam Smith, and Angelina Jordan!
Looks like with Rob Christie and Stargate, added to her team (her family ) , with the backing of RR, she has a formidable team looking after her interest. That's why we just have to be patient. Because her roots are in jazz, her delivery is such that a non-jazz singer, no matter how famous, can bring forth the emotion she does in ballads like this. Her inflections, runs, riffs, and a host of nuance just adds to her ability to penetrate the human soul.
If you asked me my favorite Angelina song, especially as I have listened to everything she has done hundreds of times, I couldn't tell you. Sure, I had a top tier, but none I could single out as "my favorite" as all were so wonderful. That is until today. This cover is Angelina Jordan perfection! This is Angie in her native environment. Pure sound from her magnificent emotional melismatic vocals and just a piano. No need for orchestral flare and mixing enhancements. Here, the last chorus was especially soul crushing! No other artist in all my 79 years has affected me like Angelina Jordan.

I have been listening to Angelina Jordan for over year now and what I have learned is that you never know what to expect as far as it will be deeply emotional or very powerful as with the high notes, but what I do know it will always be beyond comparison, I really don't even bother to listen to other artists because it will be a big drop off after listening to Angelina, I hope and pray I will be able to see her live and in concert for which I would pay too dollar to see.

She actually was acting as ambassador to the crown Prince of Norway who made a virtual visit to California to discuss environmental issues. She was invited by the prince to do this performance. Many of the qualities of her voice reminds me of Amy Winehouse. She has had those same voice qualities from the first time I heard her as a little kid. I hope she is not tormented by the same demonds that led to Amy's death.
