This song brings back a bunch of unpleasant memories...During high school, my GF had a relatively bad home life and wanted out, so we decided to get married as soon as school was out. Now, I was poor with no prospects, so we decided I'd join the Army and when I got out, I'd use the G.I. bill to get a college degree. Soooo, off to SE Asia I went. During my time there, I got a grand total of 5 letters, each about a page long. When I got "banged up", I finally heard from her, all she was worried about was if I was going to get disability and if the G.I. bill was gonna be honored, so I could support her. She was somewhat upset when I recovered, and after further training, I accepted a posting to Panama. While I was there, I was served with papers. I suspected it was coming and didn't fight it. Fooled her; got my degree and have done rather OK for myself.

Best moment: Charlotte showing her Goosebumps! I lost it! Most disappointing moment: Maunalee referencing a previous reaction and the comment "she didn't get off-key once" Since I know how much she values honesty it's a shame she will likely never read this. She needs to get over it. If you do read this, I can't help it, I still love you for many reasons, chiefly for introducing me to The Warning back when I couldn't wait to see your next reaction - whether or not it was Angelina . Wish you the best, you seem like a great mom.

You may be interested to know that Angelina has just signed with Republic Records as their number one priority new artist! She had previous turned down dozens of the biggest people in the industry. This is a huge landmark and we all knew it was coming eventually. This label also has Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Ariana grande, Jonas Brothers and more. We hear that she is signing on her own terms hopefully meaning a good deal of freedom.

Angelina's version of this Bobby Vinton song is amazing. The song takes me back to 1964 (album was released in 1962), when this song rose to #1 on the chart. Our involvement in Nam was in the initial stages, and the military draft had just been implemented. It was basically the beginning of what we refer to as the "60's" era. I don't know how Angelina digs up these old songs, but I'm glad that she does. Charlotte is adorable. Thanks for a great reaction.

Not many people can pull off this song. Angelina does it flawlessly as always. This is one of the many classic songs on her 2018 album "It's Magic" (available on amazon and itunes).

Bobby Vinton 1962. I was one of those "lonely soldiers" in Korea in '63 when I first heard this, and it sure hit home. Angelina closely duplicated Bobby's falsetto, and the rest of the song, I take it she meant it as a tribute to him, as she has done with other artists. WOW!!! I haven't heard that song in years. I was a youngster during that period. Angelina did an absolutely amazing rendition of Bobby Vinton's Mr Lonely. I remembered every word, definitely took me back. Angelina is AWESOME!!!!
