[REACTION] BABYMETAL "Road Of Resistance" MV 

They're my favorite band, I discovered them a year ago and I'm 55 yrs old.

BABYMETAL shows are just the best, they are close to perfect on so many levels! They are life-changing, I love them so much. Can't wait to see them next week!

Great reaction, I think you saw there was definitely more to this than 'Gimme Chocolate'. This was the end of a 60-90 minute performance and they'd been going at it like that for the whole time. You were absolutely right about the energy of the audience - Babymetal provides that and then feeds off it to give back even more at every show they do. Yes the costumes have changed and evolved as they've grown older. Their first shows and videos were done in borrowed clothes (they were on a very low budget at the start, then the sort of costumes you have seen them in so far were brought in and they kept the same styling with small changes being made. As they have grown older the red was lessened and has now pretty much gone altogether, likewise the tutus have been replaced - in 2018 with leather warrior elf outfits and now with mainly black (but with added glittery detailing that change colour in the light) dresses.

Wow. That was....wow.

If I had my way, Road of Resistance would be everyone's first taste of BabyMetal... Second would be Rondo of Nightmare, with Mischiefs of God intro, and third would be Iijme, Dame, Zettai from Sonisphere, 2014. Prove me wrong.

What a joy to see your enjoyment :) A little advice for your future videos: Set yourself more off-center when you are recording, to leave a little bit more room for the video you will embed. In this way, you can prevent to get "swallowed" by the embedded video. It will look nicer in general.

Hi Krisan! Something I like to do on these reaction videos for this song is count the number of wow's. So far you hold the record at 15 wow's lol. It was a lot of fun to watch your reaction; I am happy to become a subscriber. There is no other performance like a BABYMETAL performance. As epic as this performance is, I honestly don't think it will be in the top 10 performances after the pro-footage from the latest Legend Metal Galaxy concert is released; there are just so many other, more epic performances (the 2015 Met Rock festival, the Tokyo Dome, Moametal's 20th birthday, etc.) People were crying and and bowing on their knees at Legend Metal Galaxy concert; yes, us BABYMETAL fans are passionate lol. As for what to react to next I'd suggest Headbanger! at the Legend 1997, concert which celebrated the lead singer's (Su-metal) 16th birthday in 2013. Costums changed from fist album to the second, from a school costume to this on the video, later with black skirts. In the 2018 tour they started to wear a complete new warrior costume and after the release of the third album they wear some galactic silver costumes.

The song is really good for sure and what sets them apart from every other band or group out there is there always mixing it upevery song is a mystery you don't know what they're going to do what kind of genres they're going to throw at you next how they're going to mix them they keep themselves unpredictable which is what I like about they don't get boring at all

You obviously see the appeal of this band and are, no doubt, going to check out more so I just have two suggestions for you as you continue your journey. ONE: Try and keep away from _compilation_ videos. The quality of these videos totally depends on the person who edits them. Some are better than others but most are bad and, overall, don't do their performances justice. TWO: Try to avoid videos with _subtitled_ lyrics or using any _closed captions_ . While it's convenient to know what their singing about on the fly, the words on the screen will, inevitably, draw your focus to them and distract from the excellent performance, which is what you really want to pay attention to. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next one.

They have had different outfits over time. What they started out with (which you can see in the _Doki Doki Morning_ and _iine!_ music videos) is rather different from what you see in this video. From 2011 to 2017, they adopted a fairly consistent template for the outfit, but you can see a lot of variation in it (and it's not unusual for that variation to have changed maybe 4 or more times in a year) coinciding with different landmark concerts along the way. They also sometimes had different outfits for music videos, etc etc. In 2018, they drastically changed the regular outfit, and that continued through that tour. After that, they changed back towards the direction of the outfit style that was already more closely associated with them, but with some notable modification, and that is what they're currently using. Now you can keep an eye on their outfits to see which differences you notice. You may even get to the point that you can specifically tell which concert or tour it was just from the outfits. :D
