This really is a bop and it's good to know, that Ben is able to deliver vocally. Not only did he prove it as The Voice of Germany 2018 contestant, when he finished second, but also with the acoustic version of his entry, which he sang at the official presentation show. Fun Fact: Ben and Alessandro Rütten ("Sandro"), who is representing Cyprus this year, both were contestants of The Voice of Germany 2018.

I was at work yesterday listening to a 2020 Eurovision playlist at work. When this came on I thought Spotify rolled over to a new playlist. I didn’t care because I was toe tapping and moving while working. Then I looked and found out this was Germany’s entry and was impressed! I’m loving it. It will be dependent on how they stage it for sure- but they have it in them. I’m just going to pretend Sisters was a momentary lapse in judgement 🤪

About 5 measures into this song, I just fell in love with it, which is saying a lot since I don't remember the last time there was a dance song I even can say I really liked. I'm just not that crazy about that genre. The production is incredible, which is understandable seeing that it was done by Symphonix. His voice is so on point; he doesn't miss a beat. I love the guitar riff in it. This is in my Top 5, which really says a lot about the song since I am a HUGE ballad fan, and there are so many amazing ballads this year. This song DEFINITELY took me by surprise as well. This is one song I am SO disappointed we won't get to see performed live on the big stage.

I'm not surprsed Germany is sending quality like this. Last year they had Aly Ryan in their national final but they sent the wrong song in Sisters (just do internal selections in the future plz lol) and the year before that they came 4th. Germany really saved the big 5 countries this year.

Big fan of this song, super super catchy, loving the vocal too. I'm getting Benjamin Ingrosso vibes but in the best way possible. Can't picture what they'll do with it on stage, but they better not mess it up, it's too good to place low.

It's not like Germany doesn't have great musicians, they just don't want to potentially ruin their career by failing in the ESC... Oh and this year they didn't let a TV audience vote for our song because last year it ended in a disaster 😆

i think Germany's entry is really cool and unlike anything they've ever sent (at least, that i can think of at the moment). its current and fresh, i love how it builds and builds, and i wonder how this'll look in the live shows. i also think they dropped it at just the right time, in a sea of ballads and more earnest songs. XD P.S. this is a personal thing, but the title makes me think of "Vivrant Thing" by Q-Tip which is one of my favorite nostalgic songs from my teen years, so it gets brownie points for that.

Mostly agree, what gives me some pause is the fact that music mighty Germany now choose ( or worse had to choose) a great Bulgarian producer and a uniquely voiced Slovene performer to come up with a piece that has top ten potential. Micheal schulte in 18 was an exception due to personal tragedy but otherwise eighty million + Germany ESC entries sucked after Lena.
