it isnt a different studio its just an in house episode fully made by Perriot just like ep 65, the majority of Boruto episodes are outsourced so thats why we see a sudden quality spike when Peirrot fully animates an episode

This is Konohamaru's natural hair. It was suppose to be animated like this since episode 66, where the art should've been changed to Ikemoto. This animator is an OG of the Naruto franchise, he adopts strictly from the manga art style wise.

To be fair, this wasn’t a ninja fight. Y’all know they are modified w ninja tech n stuff like that. You know technology, specifically ninja tech, is a major theme in Boruto. Orochimaru been modifying mfs forever lmao. Only difference here is that these guys don’t come from a ninja background that we know of like a lot of Orochimarus test subjects did. Everybody also isn’t pressured or motivated to be ninja like they were back then when the great nations were enemies. So we probably won’t see as many ninja v ninja fights and ninja tactics in Boruto as we did in Naruto But yeah, hype reaction. Hype episode. Definitely up there with 65

The filler was made for a variety of reasons. 1. Let manga get ahead and increase sells 2. Animated cheaply to save money 3. The longer they drag Boruto the more money they make. That’s what they did in Naruto.

Episodes like this, and many more hype ones are always produced at Studio Pierrot the main Studio for Naruto/Shippuden and Boruto.. everything else its outaourced to small studios but often you will see some cool scenes even in does episodes is when pierrot give some in house animators or some hires some freelancers to help in does episodes as well.
