Charice is Filipina... one of Philippines’ greatest vocalist... right up there with Regine Velasquez, Sarah Geronimo, and Lea Salonga. You should react to more of her. Just a quick info, she transitioned as a male, and “he” now goes by the name Jake Zyrus. Still a great singer but her “style” has changed into a more masculine sound. 🤞She used to be the vocal coach to then up-and-coming singer KZ Tandingan on the show X-Factor Philippines... I believe it was the first season where KZ then went on to win the whole competition. When Charice was young she was also coached by Sarah Geronimo. I believe Morissette Amon was also once coached by Sarah G. Charice used to compete in singing competitions against Almira (of 4th Impact), Katrina Velarde, and several other famous Filipino singers.

She was about 18 years old during that performance. 18!!!!!! PLEASE watch her "Bodyguard Medley" performance in the Philippines, you will NOT be disappointed. :) (Being her biggest fan since 2007, best believe me when I say you'll be BLOWN AWAY.)

did you react to her One Moment in Time on ASAP Show?.....also her visit to Korea when she was invited a kid,,,,and she was invited again a year or so later----the show was called Star King".....and her original song was was performed in th Oprah Winfrey Show-----amazing!!!!!!! fact.......growing up, she was participating in the local talent show against Katrina Velarde and she was one of the judge in XFactor where KZ and Katrina were contestants---KZ won

The original song was by Eric Carmen; Celine Dion did a better known cover of the song. Charice was a true diva and one of the best singers/belters from the Philippines and protege of David Foster (nicknamed the 'Hitman' and a "star maker") who is playing the piano. Unfortunately for the world we lost a great voice, but Jake Zyrus (formerly Charice) is happy with who he is. He underwent a bilateral mastectomy and hormone shots. Unfortunately many pinoy people do not understand or accept his transformation.

Hey there buddies. Congrats to your growing youtube community, and thank you for reacting to Filipino Talent. Charice is one of the best vocalist David Foster have ever handled. (The man who played the piano) The Grammy Awarded producer himself said that, and no one could ever give justice to the song, only Charice. David Foster produced Grammy award winning songs from Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton and more artists.

Charice was one of the finalists in the Philippines' singing competition, she was 2nd though. Her name now is Jake Zyrus (transgender). She has a powerful voice and during her younger years she was invited in Korea by Star King Show with the Super Junior
