New Wave Stars is a multi-day singing competition for pop singers to encourage new directions and new voices who often have a difficult time making their way past the gatekeepers of the Russian music industry. It is held in Sochi, a resort town on the Black Sea. Dimash appeared as a guest last year and was a judge for the children's division. This year he was the featured performer for the Opening and Closing.

"Know" was composed by Igor Krutoy with minimal lyrics. It has been performed by Lara Fabian previously. New Russian lyrics were created for Dimash earlier this year.

New Wave music festival held in Sochi, Russia, every year is a five days new talents competition from various countries. Dimash performed opening song "Olympico" and later "Mademoiselle Hyde" on 1st day. On 2nd day he performed "Love is like a dream" and " Love of Tired Swans" on occasion of extended Birthday celebrations of Igor Krutoy. On 3rd day he went to perform in closing ceremony of 45th Worldskills competition in Kazan Russia (4 songs). Back again on 4th day in New Wave he performed new song "Passione". And on 5th day he opened with song "Where love lives", then later he performed "Know" and closing song " The Holiday is over" along with Igor Krutoy and all artists and contestants who performed in this festival. He was busy throughout the week. 😊 All performances from both events are uploaded in his channel. Thank you.

All of the songs were compositions of Igor. Passione was written especially for Di to sing at this event. He performed Ogni Pietra (Olympico) to open the ceremony and Mademsoille Hyde. The next day he performed Love is Like a Dream and Love of Tired Swans.

Hi K Darlings, New Wave at Sochi is an annual music festival. And I think Igor is one of the organizers & that's where he met Dimash when Dimash sung Sinful Passion. They invite prominent as well as new artists to perform.

He performed a very different version of Know during his concerts in Moscow - there is a good fancam (the official recording was dubbed over due to audio problems during the recording) of this under a different name Ascolta la voce - he improvised nearly the whole song without lyrics just "playing around" with the melody his hands "dancing" to the melody in his head - one of the most stunning performaces I seen from him. This is Igor's event every year for new performers.. I believe Dimash won it last year and this year is the guest performer. He sang 6 songs at the event.

Dear Regina & Sabrina, you can see his sister Raushan in the back story for Daybreak on the channel Gloria Wu when they show his family & he puts his arm around her & kisses her head. You can also see & hear her on the video Dimash and Raushan All By Myself. She is beautiful & she is wearing a beautiful gown & she is a good singer. After the song he speaks to the audience. Igor composed Passione and OGNAI PIETRA specifically for Dimash so both were new. I know nothing about the origin of KNOW How long ago and for whom it was composed for, I have no idea except that if Igor is playing, he must have composed it. This song seemed too long at tirst to me but it has really grown on me.
