The best reaction so far! Someone had to mention the Billie Eilish thing. Actually the more you listen to the song the more you find the style of Victoria, it's similar to Billie's but at the same time so different. And the music - it's like growing over itself, it's complex but at the same time so pure and raw
Oh it has everything to do with Billie, but in the best way possible. This is the perfect example of artists feeding off of each others' energy and creating masterpieces in the process. I hope Billie sees this and collaborates with Victoria.
What do I think? I think you're totally right. Your reaction is one of the most adequate I've seen by far, you look like a very smart, sensitive, intelligent guy, you're just handsome! What about Victoria and her song, I'm just in love with..., kind of addicted... Hope - the winner. Greetings from Sofia!
I am absolutely agreed with you! I really love the song,it is so tender and beautiful. I definitely think that Victoria has a great Chance to win , especially if the stage is so magical and mysterious like the song!
Your heartfelt emotions get me. This beautiful magical honest song tells my story and of many (high) sensitive people. Tears rolling down my cheek. This world needs these emotions and people like you to show your deep emotions that come from your soul as they come from mine. A message so necessary in this world with growing indifference, coldness and narcissism. Obicham te Balgarija, ik hou van jou Bulgarije.
You said it all! Тhe song and Victoria`s performance are definitely outstanding. It`s a a complete different level song, deep and genuinely beautiful! Song and singer deserve to be a head!
You're reaction was perfect. When a song moves you the way this song moves you (and me, for that matter), what's the point of going on and on about it for 12 minutes? Your facial expressions and body language say more than any amount of words you could have said in a longer video. The rich layers of music and the harmonies take you in from literally the first measure. The words to the chorus are so clever, but so simply as well. This song was not my choice to win (but it was way up at the top of my list of favorites), but if it would have won, I would have been very satisfied with the results. The last few years Bulgaria has had some AMAZING songs. If they keep coming with songs of this quality, at some point they will have to win. I'm loving your videos. You are one of my favorite channels I have found on Eurovision....and you're an American, too!
@@user-xh9qf4kb4s I have them too. I visited Bulgaria recently cause one of my heartfriends comes from Bulgaria too. While I was there late February, early March I bought some for family and friends. They are so beautiful and meaningful. ❤
Here's a link to a very informal interview I came across with Victoria. Tears Getting Sober comes across so seriously, but you get to see a totally other side to her in this video. Enjoy! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KFU-UoAeWOQ.html
Masterclass in copy paste! I mean, it is OK to be influenced by Billie Eilish, she has become an icon, but this is just simply trying to be her. I thought I would like it when I first got the Billie-vibes, but it is just too similar. The reason it sounds like Billie has a lot to do with the mixing of the song so I don't fully blame V, but I mean, the choice of vowels, and her tone is different here than any of the other songs of her I could find. This song is literally trying to sound like Billie, and honestly, I don't think it is fully Victoria's fault. Every aspect of the song has just taken the inspiration a bit too literally, and in my opinion it feels like there is a team behind trying to make this too Billie-esque.
Interesting. I agree this draws a lot from Billie's style. I don't agree that this constitutes plagiarism though. Nothing was stolen here. Victoria was very involved in the creation of this song and you can tell. It has her mannerisms and her style interwoven throughout the whole piece. Thank you for sharing your opinion!
@@CrankyUnicorn Personally, I just think it's too similar. And considering Victoria has two covers of Billie on her channel, there is no doubt she is influenced by her sound, I just see too many of the elements that makes Billie Eilish's songs unique has been transfered into Victoria's song. I would have preferred the song to bring something totally different to take it down a different path. Unfortunately, I just don't see why so many elements divert totally from Victoria's other originals and lean so much towards Billie. Anyways, just my opinion I guess.
@@xXZwItChXC4oZXx Sure! "... and her tone is different here than any of the other songs of her I could find." Try to imagine, that Duncan is a woman. Sounds like Billie or... :)
