Tim is the great state of Texas, Austin is from the deep south of Ge4ogis, and Chance is from Alabama. Can't get anymore country than that! I watched a few of your reaction videos, mainly home free and pentatonix, and I'm starting to like you more and more. And you, Vica, are so incredibly pretty!
Actually, those three at the end (Tim, Chance, and Austin) ARE country boys...all from the deep south of the U.S. (Tim is from Nederland, Texas; Chance is from Alabama; and Austin is from Tifton, Georgia). The others in the group (Adam Rupp [and originally his brother Chris Rupp] and Rob Lundquist) are all from Minnesota...definitely NOT country boys. ;-) That chicken is just one of the ones in their videos. I know you saw the Country Fried mashup, where the chicken dangles through at the last bit. Also, in "Hillbilly Bone" there's another chicken. I'm pretty sure there are at least two more, but I can't remember which ones. I'm told it has something to do with a private joke among them. Most of the whistling you'll hear at any time is usually by Rob, who's VERY good at it. As for rapping...you need to watch some of the live stuff, where Tim tells Austin he's not allowed to do that. Yes they are all country boys honest to God country boys. And yodeling is an American thing because of all the Germans and Scandinavians that came to America to live in the 1800s

Yodelling is as American as New Braunfels, Boerne, Schertz, Schulenburg, and Weimar. All towns in Texas where there was a huge immigration of Germans in the 1800's. I won't even go into the Germans in Pennsylvania and such. Notable America yodelers: Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Leann Rimes, and last year's winner of America's Got Talent, 12 year old ventriloquist Darci Lynn Farmer. It's all on RU-vid.
