On a weekend morning, my wife and I cooked Maggi kari.
For the recipe, refer to the Maggi website and use ingredients available at Korean marts.
Maggi Kari makes me want to eat again when I see others eating! Do you have your own recipes?

2 main point you need to take note is the Maggi noodles are thinner then Korean ramen noodle (back in the days Maggi slogan was "Cepat di masak cepat di makan") so basically it was made to cook faster(became soggy faster)and 2nd one is don't put too many water or the teste will be ruin (ofc it depend on individual taste preference).

We don't have specific favourite times to enjoy maggi 😂 We just eat whenever we want and that's including in the middle of weekday nights. We don't really care about looking bloated and unhealthy the next morning 🤣 And yes, some of us enjoy to eat it with rice. And I personally like to eat it with rice as a side dish lol

Next time instead of 2 packet make 3 packets for 2 people. 1 is usually not enough but 1.5 is perfect amount for each

Do you know what makes it really tasty? Stir fry all of that with a bit of oil till fragrant, only then add water, vege, egg and lastly seasoning before cooking the noodle al dente. Maggi noodles aren't so firm so cannot cook it for long on stove. Hope this tips worked. Sprinkle fried onions and spring onion on top for garnish. If your soup disappeared after cooking means too little water or cooked noodles too long that it soaked all the soup. For your question, most malaysian don't end up eating rice with the soup, we might just drink the soup as it.

I noticed korean rarely stir fried ingredient when making broth. They put the all ingredient in things like sachet and boil it to get the flavor to the broth. Ps: just from my observation from reality show I watched. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Peter.., lovely to see you and your wife enjoying Maggi Curry. It is also my favourite among all other Maggi Mee flavours. And yes, Malaysians don't mind that there is no freeze dried vegetable packet inside as we love to add our own veggies or whatever else we love to eat, when we cook Maggi. You can add cabbages, cauliflowers.., basically any of your favourite veggies. I usually add long cabbage ( kimchi cabbage), mushroom and sausages or fishballs. It is all up to you. Next time, cook 3 packets for 2 persons as 1 packet is small. Malaysians love Maggi and we can eat them at any time.

Maggi curry is famous in Malaysia. If you want to add a Korean mood, you can try putting green onions, enoki mushrooms, eggs and kimchi. It does not change the original taste of the ramen (Maggi)😊🍜✨ Thank you so much for promoting Malaysian food. (Done subscribe)

1:16 I feel it changes the stock if your ingredients have very strong flavour. That's why I usually stick to eggs and leafy green vegetables when eating local instant noodles. Chicken and pork are okay too if you're not using stock or bones, but usually I just stick to eggs since they're quicker. Sometimes I fry the egg in oil so it's crispy on the outside, before adding water and cooking the ramen. 2:12 Yeah, that's not going to be enough if you're looking for a full meal with your wife lol. Most people would recommend 1.5 packets, so 3 if you're eating with your wife. I can eat 2 fine myself, I mostly eat another brand (Myojo) which has larger noodle packs than Maggi. 3:42 I can't comment fairly on this because I don't wake up late on weekends and neither does my parents. For us, Maggi is usually maybe lunch once a week or every two weeks. 7:55 I'd say it is very likely the Malaysian favourite ramen, yeah. I personally eat Myojo Tom Yam as my main, and my parents do eat some other brands if they're cooking it dry, but for soup, they do Maggi Asam Laksa, even after 30+ years. They don't like Maggi Curry, but I do and I still eat it from time to time, just for the taste and smell. 8:34 I think it's cultural? All the brands I remember growing up with don't have anything besides the soup and oil sachets and the ramen. It took years to start seeing ingredients in instant noodles locally, and all of these seem to be from foreign brands entirely. My first memory of having additional ingredients were Nissin's cup ramen, then later I saw Taiwanese beef instant ramen with large sachets containing actual beef. Maybe a part of it is that not having more ingredients keeps it cheaper for everyone too. 9:15 No, we don't usually add rice into the soup. At least I personally don't know people who do, most people just finish the noodles, my family doesn't finish the soup because of the idea that the soup is quite unhealthy due to the seasoning. The idea of adding soup to leftover ramen never occurred to me until I went to eat at a ramen place with a friend familiar with Japanese practices. I would say that the other reason why we don't do this is that we don't tend to have rice around, you just cook the ramen for your meal and eat that.

maggi, 1 is not enough but two is too much. it's a maggi conundrum haha. anyways, maggie came up with maggi curry and maggie chicken soup BIG. it kinda solved the maggi conundrum but somehow most people still choose the normal size packet 😆

Most people don't but I'm sure there are people that do add rice with it as its a common thing plus there's influences from other nations as well. 1 packet is only for small eater, normal eater usually is 1.5 packet. For Big Eater, will need 2 or 2.5 packet.

you have to put more water when you add more ingredients because when you boil the other ingredients the water will already reduce. try to add one more glass of water(don't put more than 1 glass) so when everything is cooked you will still have more soup. put the sauce last so you can taste it in the soup

Nice vlog. 1. Weekends are for me to sleep late, watch premier league matches or movies, wake up late. 2. If i cook magi egg and veggies is a must. 3. If cook more than one use 1.5 sachet of seasoning, else too salty . 4. Instant noodles are cooked when I am in a hurry or too lazy to cook a meal 😜

The best part is you can put any vegetables or protein to maggi and it taste delicious too...we malaysian always mix it with everything...even with cheese too 😁..i personally love cabbage and eggs...some people put crab or prawn....or put a simple one like fishcake,fish ball or tofu...if the soup is thicker after cooked,just pour some hot water and stir it

instead of boiling the onion,garlic chicken , i usually stirfry it with the seasoning before adding water and boil it with the noodles

Malaysian eat rice with the noodles usually. 😂 Thats why the portion is slightly smaller than korean ramyeon. One pack is too little. Two packs is too much. One pack eaten with rice is perfect amount. I often use maggi as side dishes to eat with rice.
