10:45 - Great observation Paa Ji.. that young guy was singing in Makrani dialect of Balochi, spoken in Southern and Coastal parts of Balochistan and the Balochs who have settled in Karachi.. The traditional part was in Bolani / Suleimani dialect of Balochi language, a standard dialect prevalent in Central Balochistan.

Actually Karachi was historically part of Balochistan before the British included it in Sindh.

@@djas95219 the statement is exaggerating and historically incorrect. The modern-Karachi is located on the suburbs of ancient towns of Debal and Manora. After Bin Qasim's arrival to Sindh, the region was ruled by Soomros, Arghuns, Tarkhans, etc, who were rulers of Sindh. Later it remained a part of Mughal Empire and then Kalhoro Dynasty. Khan of Kalat, Balochistan had briefly held the area then known in Sindhi as 'Kolachi-jo-Goth'. before it was retaken by the Talpurs of Sindh few years later. The city was held with Talpurs till the British took over in 1839. Karachi has a rich and proud history of Baloch cultural influence, however it had negligible importance within the administrative influence of Baloch rulers.

@@AhsanIqbal93 We can argue on historical facts, but there is one fact undeniable: the etymology of Karachi name comes from the Kolachi tribe (it’s a Baloch tribe which originated from Kulanch, an area in Makran, Balochistan). So The present city of Karachi was reputedly founded as "Kolachi" by Baloch tribes from Makran, Balochistan, who established a small fishing community in the area. I maintain that this is originally a Baloch area who historically became part of Sindh.
