FYI ....Indonesia is multi cultural nation, we come from various ethnics , skin colors , languages etc etc, also foreign influences. we sing english,Indonesian,hindi ,korean , Chinese , Arabic......so dont get shock ,Indonesian can imitate many things

Before islam came to Indonesia, almost all Indonesian people following Hinduism and Buddhism from India. So we are very familiar with hindi and its culture

Because we growth up with Bollywood, indonesian television play a lot of Indian movie.. And we like Indian romantic story, sing, and dance..even we dont know the meaning hehee

In North Sumatra and one of big Island in Indonesia we have Indian village. expecially for Hindi song and bollywod movie in our country there is a strong chain 'melayu' and India culture. Indonesia have had influenced for along time ago in melayu song, dangdut. Beside that we have similarity style of sing such as "Latta Mangeskar voice' we call 'sinden' originally Indonesian culture (In The West, Central and East Java Island of Indoensia), at least in India the tradition of sinden ( I don't know what its style was named) become global with bollywod movie. Secondly Indian song in modern era ex. by Sereya Ghosal in between with tradisional music background, tabla, flute, sittar, etc.also the lyrics word by word ....to be good embrace, touching so many viewer all over the world and Hindi (India) music, as universal language

Why indonesia like to or talented in bollywood or hindu song? Let me tell you why bro : you know what Indonesia was influenced from many cultures since hundred years ago. Many countries have already reached our country even long before implerialism by the dutch. So not only india, there are some like china, arabian, other european countries were here for trading and for many reasons. So because of this no wonder that the assimilation of cultrue was happening. That why some of us are fluently in speaking Arabic and Hindi as well.. and for one more reason is that you know our folk song indonesia are called DANGDUT.
