The story is quite simple really. Ren saw some of chinchillas performances watching RU-vid and got in touch with her through their label. They shared management at that time. And Ren wanted to work with her. And he got her to go busking with him too, which she'd never done before and she was really nervous about doing. But it was great and you can watch that stuff too please 🙏

Have you delved much into Ren? You have a few reactions of him. Everyone is mostly introduced to Ren through Hi Ren, but he's got so much more in his back catalogue that will blow you away. Urge you to delve deppee if you haven't already and will look forward to seeing your reactions as they've been great so far. ❤️❤️❤️ Watch The tale of Jenny and Screech for sure, a three part trilogy. lol “I’d pay to have either one of them read me bedtime stories” lmao 😂 me too!!! lol and I have an all Ren playlist that I play on repeat all night. So I kinda get that for free lol. Chinchillas vocal range is insane. I’ll look to see if you did Chalk Outlines next since you mentioned her range I’m thinking you did that song but if not, highly recommend you give it a listen. 😊

Ren wrote this after his friend, Joe Hughes, committed suicide at the age of 19 by jumping off the Menai bridge at around 3.00 a.m. on 28 December 2010 - his body has never been recovered. ☮🔥Sea Point, Cape Town

I’m sure you have already been recommended to Chinchillas “little girl gone”, “Fingers”, and not recommended but fabulous all the same her live version of “cold water”. I think in this song Ren is paying tribute to Joe. His friend that committed suicide by jumping off a bridge, then watch his video “suicide “..”freckled angel “..tributes to Joe. Somewhere in Rens short videos he presented a large check to the rescue marine crew that searched for Joes body. He was never found. RIP Joe. As Ren says, “a quick decision , made in the night, that stayed with me for all of my life.

There musical siblings this song was for joe ren best friend that’s how he thinks joe felt before he died also chinchilla got out of a abusive relationship last year and ren has a girlfriend she’s in 2 of his music videos animal flow as the gorilla and in why my woman she’s the blond he puts on the table and almost dies the nasty with but anyway not ren and chinchilla are phenomenal and this is another great reaction guys may you react to fingers live by chinchilla

Now listen to " Joe's song'! He sang it on the hospital roof at the same time he did the chinchilla one. Bring tissues as it's heartbreaking but brilliant. Ren will always have Lyme's that's why he's at the Canadian hospital for 6 months.

Do you mean For Joe? That was filmed last year on a hill top in Canada. This was filmed a couple of years ago on a balcony (most likely in Brighton). And Ren has been in Canada having treatment for over a year. Hopefully only a few months to go.

The staggered start - a 2nd (or 3rd or more) singer starting later is called a round if they're singing the same song. If they're singing different songs, it's called a cannon. Go watch a really fun one - Ren & The Big Push - "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'/Satisfaction/Everybody." That's Nancy Sinatra, The Stones & The Blues Brothers. They sing it in a laundromat.

Brilliant reactions guys. RenChilla makes us all feel good. Chinchilla had never gone out busking so when she visited Ren he said ‘let’s go out and sing’. Please watch ‘One Dance/Drunk in Love’. That is Chinchillas first ever busking session. I prefer their version over the original artists :). Also, Fingers live is a must do :)

Ren has called Chinchilla his musical sibling. They have that implicit trust in each other and they very clearly have the blood harmonies of siblings. This is a particularly difficult song for Ren to sing and I feel like their eye contact is a way of saying “ I’ve got you”.

As a Renegade I suggest you also explore Chinchilla's catalog. She too is now an Independant Artist. Ren has refferred to Chinchilla as his musical sister from another mister, because they effortlessly blend. They each know their assignment and without effort they deliver. There is a natural understanding and communication.

Great job picking up on the meaning of the spoken word ending to the song: REN’s friend Joe Hughes took his own life by jumping off the Menai Bridge when Ren was 19. Ren got a call from another friend and ran out to stop him but was too late. For Joe goes more into that story. I believe this performance was done on that bridge adding to its’ intensity. ❤

Chinchilla is a trained singer. She is definitely capable of overpowering Ren vocally. Thing is, both singers well know how to blend and harmonize. That is what makes this song so successful. It is beautifully performed by both of them.

There is truely No Wrong one in Ren performances. Each version is Different. Any busking video of The Big Push, where the thumb nail shows Ren in red suspenders is more... polished and put together different. The Big Push also has original works as well. A Ren video of a song. Is totally different from a live version or an accustic version. So each can be reacted to seperately and will gather Renegades to watch. Each version brings something new to the table. Anyone mention the 1st band he was in? Trick the Fox? Well worth your attention.
