Levanter is beautiful, unfortunately after one of the members left, this was the first mv they put out after that, and it just hit hard for fans at the time especially, as it was a complete different theme and so straykids rlly touched fans hearts with this
Thank you for reacting to Levanter! It's one of my favorites. Levanter means "a strong easterly wind out of the Mediterranean." This song is meaningful to Skz and Stay as it was supposed to be released earlier but when the 9th member left, they had to put their comeback on hold and re-record the whole album. This was their 1st song as OT8 that we know and love. Its just beautiful! Thanks again!
Levanter is a phenomena of a strong wind in Mediterranean area that rises from the East, like sun, new dawn, new beginning. Those areas are also known for their vast lavender fields. I do think it has the double meaning of a new start and the inner calm.
It’s a shame people don’t react to more of SKZ’s earlier songs they are missing out on some absolute gems showcasing how diverse they are Some rap heavy like Easy, Muddy Water to their ballads Waiting For Us, Winter Falls, l Hate to Admit to Chronosaurus and the quirky N/S
This is a part of the skzuniverse lore. Right now in the storyline they found the key to the 3rd portal and they're in a parallel universe. It's like the music version of a marvel cinematic universe.
I guess you will like hellevator, slump and voices. These are old songs. Most stray kids old songs talk about their journey and life experiences. You should listen to their older songs. Way different from today's songs.
If you dig deeper to skz songs, you'll find urself listening to various songs that is very different with eachother, with meaningful lyrics almost in all songs❤
Omg yay!!! I’m so glad y’all loved this song!! Levanter is such a good one that I can throw on and just listen to. Interesting enough this song does have an English version as well. MORE STRAY KIDS 👀
So cool you’ve seen this side of the boys. Few people dig that deep. In a video doco prior to their last album Rock Star, they were away together and started listening to old music and came across Levanter. They all fell silent remembering the difficult time they had when the 9th member left just before the comeback with Levanter. They had to rearrange line distribution and deal with being unsure if the fans would still follow them (we know the majority did now). Bang Chan said this song was like their “real” debut, meaning as OT8. They can write deep and moving lyrics. A lot of their newer title tracks are more hype and energetic, but their b-sides can get quite deep, especially a lot of their earlier songs where they explore growing up, overcoming the battles of trying to find their way with their dream and staying positive even when times were tough. Those songs are often the comfort songs for Stay like Grow Up, I am You, Behind the Light, #LoveStay and Youtiful. Enjoy.
If you like touching lyrics and a different side to Skz, I recommend Youtiful (this one is all in English), Grow up, FNF (Fauna and Flora, it was written about the bushfires that hit Australia in 2019 and 2020), Voices, Mixtape #3 (also called For you) and Lonely St.
There older songs all have a meaning to them. Most are about them finding their sound and not just what people think they should be or sound like. All of there songs are amazing.
For me, the most impactful song of theirs is Hellevator. It was their pre-debut song and has very personal lyrics. You can tell it came from a place of uncertainty and determination. At that point, they had no idea if they would make it but they sure as hell were going to try. Absolutely worth checking out. Great reaction!
Keep on reacting on their discography there is a lot I think all of diffrent genre u want to hear they all have it.they can do it all ,you will never get bored❤
Please do more straykids! Their discotography is SO diverse, all self produced and theres some very important messages in many of them. A lot of hard hitting lyrical ones they strip back a bit for lyrics to shine.
Would love to see what you guys think of Stray Kids 'Cover me'. My daughter found them a couple of years back with all their hype songs, then i found cover me, and fell in love with their vocals. Another great song is 'Red Lights' its a duet with 2 of the members Bang Chan (Leader, Producer) and Hyunjin (Dancer, and Writer) Thankyou for giving some of my favourites a listen, Taylor, Little Mix, Ren, Stray Kids, Black Pink and Falling in Reverse! You guys are being taken all over the place and I Love it! ❤
There are really deep skz songs but most of them are bsides you gotta really get into their discography to find them some of them are cover me, fnf, lonely st, slump, dlmu, blind spot, youtiful, lovestay
O Stray kids tem uma discografia grande, então eles tem uma grande variStray kids have a large discography, so they have a wide variety in their lyrics. If you also like this type of lyrics with an extra meaning, I recommend, hellevator, EX, cover me, street light, scars, lost me, mixtape oh, mirror, chronosauros, secret secret, sorry, i love you, Silent cry , Volcano, gone away
Yo, just subbed and binged all ur skz reactions! Y'all are actually so thoughtful and interested?? I don't really listen to a lot of their louder music anymore (it kinda stresses out the fam when I'm driving lol), so I've got a whole lot of their softer songs in the back of my head 24/7 hahaha. My personal recommendations would be 3rd Eye (no MV), FNF, Scars and Cover Me (no MV) + DLC (though it seems people have mixed reactions with this one; I love it though, and it has a really pretty music video). ALSO they have quite a few solo songs out on RU-vid, some with music videos, others only have lyrics but out of those I really love Miserable by Han, Hold On with Seungmin and Black Hole by Bang Chan and I.N. Thanks for reacting!
they actually make all their songs with different messages some of them are deep, u can really see how serious is the music for them, they have so diferent genres of music through their career, cause they like to experiment and try new things and sounds, i really recommend you to hear more of them, they never dissapoint and they also have solo songs that are masterpieces i recommend you "Alien" by Han ( the illustrated mv that has subtitles so u can read the lyrics) I saw your videos of seventeen and nct in the killing voice, stray kids have some "first take" in case you want to hear their voices clear and live hehehe hope u react to more stray kids
I was resistant to exploring some of their discography (except for what was popping up with their title tracks) when I found Stray Kids. Saw so many recommendations for Levanter, but (like you) thought the less rap-heavy offerings would be more pop-y than I was looking for. Finally succumbed to "comments pressure" and listened to this song. Holy Jesus, I was mad at myself for doubting the boys! So now I listen to anything of theirs that I come across, because I KNOW that I am going to enjoy it!
I truly advise you guys coming out they’re earlier stuff and they’re b-sides. I’ve been a stay since their first ever release hellavator and it’s been amazing to watch them grow. Some of my favorite tracks are their earlier ones which often tend to be overlooked so I implore you if your interested ti react to their full albums cause they are masterpieces!
OH MAN. There are too many songs that you guys are missing out on. I don't even know which one to suggest. I want to say either Megaverse or LALALALA because those are some of their most recent ones...but like...from seeing what you guys said about the lyrics I really feel like you just gotta react to Hellevator. It's still upbeat but you can just feel that it goes deeper than what one can understand from it, please read the lyrics if you do. It's their first song ever made together with all 9 members(they are 8 members now, one of them left for personal reasoning, and actually Levanter was their 1st title track that was released with them being 8 members which is why you can just feel how heavy and deep it gets), it was made pre-debut when they were getting judged by some of the biggest kpop CEO's whether they would get to debut as a 9 membered group or not.
