Punjab is the only state in India which doesn't have rights over it's own waters due to sections 78 and 79 of Punjab Reorganization Act. Punjab has to pay to import Natural Gas and Marble from Rajasthan, coal from Bihar and Jharkhand but is forced to give approximate $191 billion USD worth of water for free to it's neighbouring states despite itself facing a water shortage. This was also one of the issues Bhinderawala was protesting against.

The police released a statement that AN94 rifles were used but AN94 is a very rare rifle in India and extremely difficult to get.. but Ak-74 is more common and also uses the same 5.56mm bullets used in AN94.. so for the police to release a statement saying AN94 was used without any weapon being recovered means the agencies were already tracking the rifles.. moreover, there were 8-10 people, with AN94s, Ak-47s and grenade launchers.. It is unbelievable that agencies which track all illegal weapons, especially those headed to Punjab or Kashmir didn't know about it..

Punjab water levels is decreasing and Government using their foul plays and tactics so that Punjab's water decrease more and that water will be give to haryana through SYL Canal.
@Sunil Chahal it was central government ruling in Punjab, haryana, Himachal at that time which made the promises. Some sections were made making central government head of water bodies but as a central body, you can't make decisions over state water bodies.
