Just like you I got no words to describe my happiness about our living legends coming back. We got so many news along with this single, you probably already know, but you can find all that info in their official "place". But one of the important news on this new single is that finally SuMetal achieve one of her dreams becoming songwriter, she's credited officially and we couldn't be more proud of her.❤️ Everything about this song sounds a banger for me, since the obscure tone and heavy riffs start, passing through that drum&bass section that i used to jam a lot before meeting BM, and those lyrics imbuing epicness and willing to fight for your future. Unlike Road Of Resistance this lyrics got more darker tone and it sounds more like a call to arms. Btw many fans (including me) are linking the lyrics of this song and the cavalry and horse imagery to Attack On Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin) and once you know what they're saying it makes totally sense at least as an homage, but we'll see how is the story of these worlds inside of this metalverse and the new lore they created. They really have grown so much ! I've been a fan since somewhere in December 2015 and look into everything they've done in the years before that and the years before Babymetal. Which is why the lyrics writing credit is an important new step. Let's hope Moametal will also get some kind of writing credits on this album or the next.
There is a lot of Moa singing in this song too. Moa and Su sound amazing together and I'm glad Moa is getting the chance to sing more. I hope that continues in more songs.
Su’s voice has really matured in the last couple of years and you can really hear it here. On the first verse, more of her natural vibrato comes through, and it sounds amazing. Can’t wait to hear what it sounds like when they play it live since the live versions always hit harder than the studio recordings.
There are 2 singers in this world I never get tired of listening to. Su, and Morissette Amon. Two very different singers, but both able to cause strong emotions through their song and singing. To anybody who has never heard of Morissette Amon, I would highly recommend checking her out too. It would be a dream of mine to see the two come together and create something together! I think it would be AWESOME!
Saying her voice is divine falls in line with what I feel. Best way I can put it: Su's voice is proof that angels exist. And I don't even believe in that sort of thing 🤘🦊🤘
Nice reaction. Power of Su's voice is amazing. Doesn't matter if she's hitting power notes. Or those smooth calm vocals from the start of the song. Moa does a nice job with her vocal part in the 3rd verse. She's sounding more and more like Su all the time. True growth of these artists. Soon a new song drops in just a few days. Babymetal is looking to bring some magic back to the world. Babymetal magic that is. Can't help but be happy when listening to Babymetal.

Moa's velvety but powerful voice in the back sounds great, too. The first thing came up in my brain was Dante's "The Divine Comedy". A figure with wings reminded me of Beatrice in purgatory. The sacred image is overlapping with Su and Moa, but we all know that is just one of their various faces that we are going to witness from now on. Let's not be judgmental in haste. Hi Julia, I think you have good taste in Japanese metal, you should also look at Lovebites - they really rock! FYI Band Maid toured America last month and met up with one of their must see bands The Warning who are three sisters from Monterey Mexico who play rock also. It would be interesting for you to watch them as well! To further your interest in rock/metal there are two bands I would also suggest you may like, one is Nightwish, a symphonic metal band from Finland they perform in English, their singer Floor sings anything from opera to metal vocals, she is amazing. Also a Ukrainian band called Jinjer who are a progressive metal band. Their singer Tatiana is an amazing lyricist and singer, she sings in a very wide range of vocal styles (they also sing in English). If you would like any recommendations for any of them for best songs to start with, please ask. 💖

So I'm so happy for their comeback, for Su, for Moa and for the entire team BABYMETAL. I ended up crying the first time I listened to this song and I'm not ashamed to admitt it. tbh what would be the point in watching a Japanese band then? Her voice is distinctly poorer when singing in English -Japanese and English are very different in structure - although they do do a few in (American) English - the difference is often noticable.
